With the assistance of The State Fire Marshalls Office, we were able to obtain this bed shaking device for one of our hearing impaired residents! This device will alert the resident when the smoke alarm is going off by shaking the bed! Hopefully it will give the family some peace of mind knowing that there is some extra protection for their loved one to be alerted!

Let this be a friendly reminder to ensure that you and your family have proper smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in your homes.

”So today a lady and her mother and husband came in telling us that the insurance company may or may not pay for their little boys walker so they went on the internet and found plans to make one out of PVC pipe so my store manager heard about this and we went over to them looked at their plans and said we got this so we started putting it together told the family to go and enjoy ice cream and come back in a hour. Other associates started jumping in and when the family came back it was done. Everyone was crying to see Logan walk around with the biggest smile on his face and when the family tried to pay us we said no way this one is on us. Thank to all that help and for being a blessing to this family and to this little guy.”

Love my home county. Great Idea. Wilson County Sheriff's Office?

THIS IS A GREAT JAIL PROGRAM THAT WORKS BOTH WAYS.
The sheriff in Stewart County, TN has a “Pet Rehabilitation Program.”
These two dogs will go through a period of training, with a lot of human contact as well as love and attention from the trustees.
In case you don’t know, a trustee is an inmate — usually in a minimum security classification — who is responsible for performing various tasks under supervision in a jail.
In this case, they help get the dogs ready for a new loving home.
These are two females — Paris and Karma.
They have always been together.
Please contact the Sheriff’s Office if you’re interested in finding these fur babies permanent homes.
GOOD FOR THE DOGS AND GOOD FOR THE TRUSTEES WITH THE RESPONSIBILITY OF CARING FOR THE PUPS.

Truth

I can't take him to the beach for a walk because it annoys you and disturbs the vacation... I have no right to rent a house if I have a dog, nor can I take him on public transportation.

However, I can take it to the rubble to find you after an earthquake, in the woods after you got lost in the mountains and had no map or gps; under the snow because you took a detour forbidden off the track; in the water because despite the red flag you have entered the sea, and your life is in danger!

And finally ...

He is just a dog, but he or she will find you. And it will save you!!!
