Also, watch out for Luna!

Luna went missing from Abbott Road, off of Little River Road, early Wednesday morning. She is four months old, has long white hair, blue eyes, and big double paws. She is very friendly and loving. She responds VERY well to cat treats which she knows as “cookies”. She doesn’t know her name super well yet. We typically refer to her as “baby”. Please call or text 603-988-2510 with any information and please pass along to anyone in the area.

Please remember that fireworks can be scary for some of our furry family members so please celebrate with care. A Thunder Shirt may help some pets that experience fear during fireworks or a quiet place like a crate may work as well. We wish you a safe and happy Fourth!

Unseasonably hot temperatures are hitting us this week and we wanted to remind you of a few tips to help your pet stay cool and healthy.

*Take walks early in the day before it heats up too much. Remember, if you can't place your palm on asphalt without discomfort it's too hot for your dog's feet.

*Make sure there's plenty of cool, fresh water available for your pet and keep them indoors for the hottest parts of the day.

*Should your pet experience distress from the heat or you suspect heat stroke take them to the emergency room immediately. Do not try to rapidly cool your pet with the hose as this can cause shock. Bring your pet inside and cool slowly until you can get medical help.

If you have any questions you can call the office otherwise stay cool out there!
