How cute is Ari in her Thanksgiving dress?! She was as brave as she was cute at her visit today!
We will be closed 11/27/25 so that our staff can spend time with their loved ones for Thanksgiving. We will be open normal hours (7:30am-5pm) on Friday and Saturday this week to help care for your pets!
Remember that just because we may be enjoying the Thanksgiving festivities with delicious food our pets can not eat many common Thanksgiving foods. Even things that are safe for your pet to eat should be given only in small amounts and avoid fats and seasonings, our pets are much smaller than us! We often see pets with upset stomachs after the holiday due to eating things they should not have (by being mischievous or becuase their loved ones may not know).
Some things that are dangerous for our pets to eat on Thanksgiving include:
Alcohol, Grapes/Raisins, Chocolate, Corn cobs, Bones, Garlic/Onions, Turkey Skin, Nuts, Anything with Xylitol (artificial sweetener), Fatty Foods, and Sweets.
Things that your pet can try but only in small moderation:
Small amount of Turkey Meat, Plain Carrots, Plain Cooked Sweet Potatoes, Plain Pumpkin, Plain Rice, Apples and Plain Green Beans.
If you are not sure, it is best to avoid it! Or maybe get them a special can of wet food from West Lebanon Feed & Supply to celebrate instead!
We are thankful for our incredible team, clients, and pets! Be safe and enjoy the day with your loved ones as well.
