Join our "family" of Dreamers! I have room for an additional horse/rider in my Team Dream which is an exceptional group of like-minded dressage riders of every level who enjoy learning along with their horses.

Our farm in Lebanon, Ohio, is beautiful and our clients are kind, supportive and eager to learn. We have clients who love to show, and clients who prefer to stay home and learn. All are welcome!

We also have room for a trainer to rent a block of "dry" stalls and run their program completely independently of ours. We've hosted both H/J and eventing training programs over the years but are also open to dressage.

I am so excited to make this announcement!!!!

My Team Dream Training Center at my Dancing Horse Farm in Lebanon, Ohio is proud to present the first "Mind & Body Connection Workshop" in the United States with The Neurocentric Rider coach, Lotti Hutchinson from the UK!!!!!!!!!!

The fun starts Friday, May 3rd, with an evening workshop and then Saturday and Sunday will be split into morning group riding sessions and afternoon group sessions that involve all rider and non-rider participants.

This workshop is going to be MEGA! We have set it up so that anyone and everyone can attend and go home with personalized drills addressing their individual physical concerns.

We are also thrilled to be have Jessica A. Kaczmarek of The Distinguished Rider with us doing custom boot fittings and a luncheon discussion.

Cost is:
Rider: $250 for the weekend (gets the whole shebang!!)
Non-Riding Participant: $175 (gets to participate in everything, except riding portion)
Silent Auditor: $75 (doesn't get to participate, only listen quietly and can submit questions via index card)
Private 30 min one-on-one session with Lotti: $50

So proud of my boy and thankful to Joanna Jodko for capturing this beautiful moment!

We head home to Ohio next weekend! I can't wait to share all my new knowledge with my clients IN PERSON who've continued their progress through the winter thanks to virtual lessons. Hey everyone! Info drop...

* Jordina will begin posting a daily schedule on our DHF FB group so that everyone can plan accordingly.

* Jumps will be left set up from Thursday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. Please do not move them. Ride around them when they are set up. Also, do not move anything outside. Apparently someone has been putting the standards outside and they freeze to the ground and then can't be moved until the ground thaws.

* Those clients who haul-in to ride, we ask that you come between the hours of 3-5:00PM and not Thursday through Sunday, typically this is the quietest time in the indoor. Jayne will schedule virtual haul-in lessons during those times as well.

* And finally, PLEASE pick up your horse's p**p, clean-up after yourself, organize your equipment and leave the grooming stall clean for the next person when you leave to ride. We are a community of riders who enjoy being at and a part of DHF. Please respect each other, our hard-working staff, and the business by cleaning up.

The Stable Hand position is responsible for feeding horses, stall cleaning, cleaning and refilling water buckets, barn/pasture rotation, dressing/undressing horses, noticing injuries/lost shoes then notifying management; in general, maintaining the cleanliness of the barn, aisles, and facility and health and safety of the horses. Experience with handling horses is a plus. But, need not have experience if willing to learn!

Applicant MUST have reliable transportation.

The final touch for our barn renovations: new signs! The office and Stall Annex didn't have signs before. The other change is that we discovered the refurbished barns were so tight, we removed half the windows for better summer ventilation.

IT'S MOVING DAY!!!!!! Barn one is finished and the first horses are moving back in today! All of the stalls have been power-washed, including the wash racks and grooming stalls. The mats in the wash racks and grooming stalls were moved so the floors underneath could be cleaned. The tackroom and powder room have been thoroughly cleaned as well. Even the empty tack lockers were swept out in both barns. New signs are coming for the back of the barns as well as Barn 3 and the office. Dancing Horse Farm's barns are looking FAB after excellent "facelifts"!!!

As an integral part of the Dancing Horse Farm management team the Equine Barn Manager partners with the owners and peers to favorable impact the goal of providing a safe and professional environment for both horse and client. The Equine Barn Manager oversees the proper care of horses, provides leadership for their employees, and has a critical eye towards the upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and grounds.

Essential Skills and Competencies
• Previous experience in barn management including the management of staff
• Dedication to the health and welfare of all horses with demonstrated mental and physical stamina
• A process improvement and organizational skills mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid working knowledge of equine nutritional needs
• Basic exposure to equine medical treatments
• Possesses equine behavioral management techniques
• Ability to operate farm vehicles and tractors
• A plus would be to have a Bachelor of Science degree in any of the following: equine science, animal science, or equine business management.
• Mechanically inclined would be a benefit

Duties and Responsibilities
• Feed horses and provide supplements
• Muck out stalls
• Turn out horses to paddocks
• Appropriately blanket horses
• Hire, train and supervise employees
• Manage employee schedules and payroll
• Order supplies, equipment, and feed
• Assist with veterinary treatments
• Responsible for overseeing the general maintenance and upkeep of the barn. May be asked to fix broken fencing and farm
• Operate farm machinery to move manure and hay

On-site housing. Stall(s) can be included as part of manager's compensation package as well as lessons/training with one of our on-site trainers.

More progress on Barn 1! So exciting!!! All the trailers were moved away from the barn (and parked next to or behind the arena) so the crew could access the barn more easily. The north side of the roof is being replaced now.
