I am living my best life with lupus, while homeschooling three kids on our small fiber farm and working my small handmade business. My name is Mandy. I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician,mother, home schooler, crafter extraordinaire, farmer and homesteader. After spending 5 years in emergency Veterinary Medicine and 4 years in small animal and exotics, I decided to trade in my stethoscope for a

shovel and combine both my passion for animals and my love for creativity and art. And so Kerfluffle Fiber Farm was born. It was not long before I had acquired my first herd of Alpacas from one of Maine's premier Alpaca breeders. Followed by a small herd of German Angoras and a few babydoll sheep. I was well on my way to having the fiber farm of my dreams. While the fiber farm is my love I have another passion in life. This passion is one of self sustainability, and a healthier lifestyle through the art and heritage of homesteading. In 2013 I purchased my first trio of silver fox rabbits to raise for consumption and fur. I have also added poultry, laying ducks and chickens. My goal is to eventually have a large garden and a colony of bees. I deeply enjoy learning and the sharing of the knowledge that I have acquired with others. Client education about animal care and husbandry is a top priority of mine. I also love to give demonstrations on different aspects of the fiber arts.

I was just accepted into this show!

GNE shows are my favorite indoor events. All vendors are juried so you know you are getting the best of the best that the area has to offer.

Taylor will be with me so I can take a break and do some of my own Christmas shopping😍

Hi super, awesome, fabulous friends!!!

While our Halloween Hooded Infinity Scarf Drawing was set for tonight at 8pm this evening, I am going to have to postpone it for tomorrow, Friday at 8pm EST.

I am still recovering from last weekend's show and managed to over do it this afternoon. I am experiencing a flare to the point where my muscles and my speech are being affected.

I think it's best to move the festivities to tomorrow to be safe 🥰

I will also extend the time in which the drawing is open, so for anyone who may have missed it now is your chance to join in the fun. ❤️

The level of difficulty for the kids Halloween costume is definitely going up! They are creative, that's for sure! Lol

I will be spending all my spare time focusing on getting these sewn up in time for Halloween.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth this past Saturday. An extra special thank you to those who made a purchase. Each and every purchase has a huge impact for my family and small business.

The was absolutely amazing! The weather was perfect and the music was amazing ❤️

Setting up the night before was a real struggle for me. If it wasn't for my amazing mother, Gwen Caron, who drove all the way down to help me over the weekend, this event would definitely not have been possible for me to attend.

I really wish I had some beautiful photos of that day to share with everyone but I was right out staight. I never had a chance to take any photos.

I was able to step out for a few moments at the end of the show and met a wonderful fellow sewer that I cannot wait to tell you about. Keep an eye out for my shout post!

It felt so great to be out and about doing what I love. The struggle is definitely worth it.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day yesterday. I am recovering from a procedure and will be resting for the next few days but plan to be adding new items and prints this weekend. ❤️ I can't wait to share them! ☺️😄
