We believe we are a great choice for watching your dogs because we love and care for dogs well, we have a flexible schedule with availability and did we mention that we love dogs? Each of our family members are hands on with our dogs, as we would be with any furry guests coming into our home, so there would be a lot of help and energy in caring for your dog. Your dog will receive a lot of love,
care and exercise daily. While we do not have a fenced in yard because our dogs use an underground fence, your dog will receive great supervision as well daily leash walking personalized to meet your dog's needs (weather permitting) around our family friendly neighborhood, on the rails to trails or wooded hiking trails. Like we said, we have 2 dogs of our own. A 2 ½ year old female and a 4 year old female, both rescued dogs and we're told they are shepherd mixes. We just cannot get enough of them some days! Prior to these girls, we had a border collie/lab mix who was our first “baby” just 3 months after getting married. We loved her until the very last breath before cancer took her from us. In addition to adopting the two fur girls we currently have, we have talked about fostering dogs with the local rescues, but we have decided that pet sitting would allow us to open our home and hearts to other dogs while providing a service and safe environment that is helpful to meet the needs of others. It's hard to go off for a day, weekend, week or longer if you don't have someone you can count on to fully care for your fur babies. Please consider us to be the ones that you can trust with your precious pets. Your dog will enjoy his/her vacation with us as much as you will enjoy yours! Feel free to bring anything that your dog requires to help him/her to feel at home and comfortable. We can provide a crate, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Beds, toys, treats and special instructions are welcome. We do ask that you bring your dog's food along to avoid any tummy troubles. We will do our best to follow any instructions given to us to keep our guests happy and healthy while they are in our care. Proof of vaccinations are required.
