Ok folks. The post on Jasper had so many negative comments on the past owner. Folks let’s not be so negative or judgmental. We don’t know the circumstances of the folks private life and it is not our business. We are so thankful that they reached out to us. That’s why there are rescues . We are here to help the dog not judge the people. We are thankful to have Jasper here and to be able to help him.He is a lovely dog and has already adjusted to being here and is really happy. We are so thankful we are here to help him. We are not judge or jury. The Dad did what he felt was best for Jasper I thank him for trusting me . Welcome Jasper. We promise you we will find you an excellent forever home with another dog friend. End of story. 🤬

Sweet Daisy in Papa John’s Chair. She loves to nap in his chair . While he naps in bed. Once he gets up he will make her move . But she takes every chance she can to get into his chair.

Poor Tallie, something is really wrong with her. I'm At Urgent Pet Vets with Tallie. Dr. Natalie is running blood work. Checking for fever. Doing f***l and heartworm. She just came back in temp is 105.6 🤔waiting on blood work. Still may go to UF prayers please for our Tallie. She thinks it’s a urinary infection that may of gone to her kidneys. 🙏🙏🙏 Please Say a Prayer for Tallie and Donations are always appreciated for Medical Expenses.

UPDATE 10:30 pm: At UF waiting for doctor to talk to me. Will more than likely be hospitalized on meds and fluids for a couple days. Please Pray for our Little Girl. She's already been through so much in her young life

UPDATE 5:00 PM SUNDAY:
Tallie continues to be Hospitalized at UF and will have an Ultrasound Tomorrow (Aug 26 at 4:00 pm). Her Fever is Down a little, but she is Not eating. There are No Results from the Cultures they did; we will update on those when we know more. Tallie did Perk Up a bit today when she saw Ellen.

Coming soon. This is Jasper. He is a year old. He is looking for a home that has another dog. His owners split up and his Dad who works all night got custody. Meet Jasper a Golden Doodle. Handsome young man only a year old . DOB 8-9-23 he is neutered , has all his vaccines and is on heartworm prevention we will
Get him Microchipped . He gets along great with other dogs. He does need a companion dog . He is the product of a divorce and mom took his lab friend with her and Dad works nights and Jasper was not happy being left alone . So he was barking when dad went to work and the neighbors were complaining . So Dad felt it was best for Jasper to be rehomed and he called us since we screen all
Our applicants. He is a great boy and will be a great addition to any family.

This is Rocky . Rocky is now going to be adopted. His folks will come fill out all the paper work. But they have a big trip planned early September. So we agreed it’s best for Rocky to stay here until he gets neutered and they return. We will board him for his family until they are back. I love this handsome guy anyway. It will be a pleasure to have him a little longer.

Foxy ready for bed. She is so funny, she tells Archie (her Man) it’s time to stop fooling around and come to bed. He loves to wander all around and p*e on every blade of grass, pick up every toy. Foxy goes to their run and if he doesn’t come in a certain amount of time she stumps out and goes over to him, I don’t know what she says but he comes stomping in then. And comes to bed. Who says dogs can’t talk.🫢⭐️♥️ Foxy came from Romania and Archie came from South Korea. They both came from some of the most horrific kennels/ shelters over there. They were very abused and scared when they arrived. But it did take a couple years actually and now several of our volunteers have been able to work with them. They are permanent residents here because of their age and past. They kennel together at night and are in a separate play area during the day. Archie loves toys and Foxy loves Archie. I feel she may have some real fox in her she burrows in holes and they really dig some deep ones. Then when Rich comes with his tractor he covers them all up and they can start all over. 😇❤️♥️

Our sweet baby Daisy. She is Rich’s girl, he has worked wonders with this girl. She stays here with Baby Blue, but her heart belongs to Rich one of our great volunteers. This little lady has made a 100% turn around since she arrived here several years ago. It has taken time, patience and love and understanding. But we believe miracles happen and they sure have with Daisy. We work very hard to make miracles happen most every day here at Joshua’s House.

Our shy guy Charlie. He is so afraid of people. He thinks he will be hurt. But when I go into the cage with him and we snuggle, he loves it. He just can’t get the courage to ask for the loving yet. Charlie has a very special family that will be coming to meet him this weekend. Hope they love him as much as we do. 😇♥️

Our three potatoes. Amazing Grace, Faith’s Shelby and Baby Jordan. This is the puppy room and Shelby comes to play with the two youngest when ever Faith and Alivia come. We are keeping our fingers crossed that our Canada Karen will be back in the near future. I need her help. And Papa John is declining so rapidly now that. I need either his daughters or a volunteer to come sit with him. If I have to do veterinary runs. Hospital runs etc. I just can’t risk his health and safety on a fall, or worse. His daughters will take up most of the slack . But at times both are on there
Own appointments and sometimes I just need to leave right now. Like with Tallie. Dr. Mercer exams her gave her anti nausea medications and fluids , did blood work and said this girl needs hospitalization. So up to UF I go. Did not get back home until 2am in the morning. It’s tough. But it’s a fact of life now.

Omg, already got a call from UF on Tallie. Day six and still not eating . Not even showing any interest in food. Talllie was the girl that would jump, spin and try to knock the food bowl out of your hands she has always been so excited about food. They did an ultrasound yesterday and there were no changes from the previous ultrasound they had done. When I spoke to the doctor she said they are considering doing a scope to look down her throat and look into the stomach. But first they wanted to give her a chance to maybe try some food anyway. Fever is back to normal. I thought that maybe the fever was why she didn’t feel like eating. But no . I don’t know why our dogs always have such unusual cases . Not just cut and dry. So that is exactly why they call it the practice of medicine. They are doing the best they can . But someone has to figure this out. All we know is is she does have a bad kidney infection . She is on IV fluids and Baytril. And until she starts eating she will not be able to come home. I am so worried about our little Tallie girl. They did have neurology take a look at her because she is still so dull acting . That exam was normal except for the dull attitude. She is only just under three and was very very active until this happened. We just can’t seem to figure this one out. Baby Blue and Daisy who are the other two girls in her play area are just fine. ????? Please continue to pray for Tallie and the doctors to help them figure this out. I want my Tallie home.

Judy Hutton’s best boy ever Banjo. Another great Alum from Joshua’s House. Banjo came from South Korea and has been Judy and Dave’s best boy ever after they lost there heart dog and Judy was so extremely sad for so long. So we asked her to please foster Banjo just to have another dog in her life. And as we all know how that story ends, Banjo did not leave. They live in the Villages and Banjo and Judy are great ambassadors to Joshua’s House. Thank you for your years of help, support and devotion to our great dogs.❤️❤️❤️

Rocky went to the Vets today to get his vaccines. Heartworm, microchip and f***l. As of today not counting today for Tallie we had spent $9543.14. That is just this month : August. We really need everyone’s help. I don’t know what’s happening, because we have always had enough money in the bank to cover our veterinary bill and gas and food for our rescues. But this month has not been the case. But we just cannot get to this point in the balance. So we are begging everyone please help us or we just will not Be able to continue. Papa John has steadily declined and then with the added worry of Tallie and the rest of our special needs dogs, I just can’t take much more. Please help us NOW!!!
