Joshua's House for Golden Retriever Rescue is all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue group. We are a dedicated group of dog lovers who find forever homes for stray, abused or abandoned Golden Retrievers or Golden mixes. We have no age limit from birth to Hospice Care. We raise awareness to health care , spay and neutering and to education of the community to adopting rather than Puppy mills or pet stores. Help people be on the look out for abuse and proper training.

We would like to introduce Tucker to Everyone. He is around six - a Golden/Bassett mix. All vaccinated, neutered etc. Loves kids and other dogs. He does need to get vet checked just to be sure everything is good. Mom had personal life issues that prohibited him to make the move with her. So out of great love for him she choose us to help Little Tucker out. We appreciate the trust she has bestowed upon us. Welcome Tucker to Joshua’s House. Please watch for updates on his journey.

Good golly Miss. Molly. She really has trouble getting around. The vets says that’s because she still has a part of her leg (which was a birth defect) and her brain thinks she has the whole leg. So she thinks is she is putting it down. She goes to UF to see if she is a candidate for a prosthetic. If not she will have surgery to remove the scapula. Then it will shut off her brain. But if a prosthetic works that’s the best option.

Nancy and I went to Grandview Clydesdales yesterday. It was so nice and the farm was all light up for the holidays. So pretty. We recommend it for anyone wanting a really great experience . The owners were friendly, knowledgeable and the farm is beautiful. The horses are so big and just amazing . We really enjoyed ourselves.

I really want to Thank Ester for loaning us her two Camp lights . These are really great and I just came in from putting the back gang up and cleaning the outside runs again. And the lights really do work well. What a day. I had to take Molly for her surgery recheck in Gainesville at The University . She is perfect. They are very happy with her progress, Then we got seven bags of Fromm in today. That’s 210 # which I had to unpack and put away in Lucky’s room. Nancy said why dont you wait. until tomorrow when help is here. But I said if it rains that’s a lot of food that will
Be ruined. So needless to say I had to put it away. Ouch!🫢 My days are always very long. I let the back dogs out as soon as it’s light out. And put them to bed at dark . So they aren’t locked up in runs to long. Everyone gets fed twice a day. And we do our best to give each and every dog some quality time. But this is my life. But with the holidays after tomorrow we are putting a hold on adoptions until the first of the year. I feel peoples lives are to hectic and busy during the holidays so We want each dog to get the best chance they can at a happy ever after. We do want to wish every one a very Safe, happy and Merry Christmas. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Layla the mom 2 1/2 and daughter Hope 1 year needs to both get vetted and spayed. Then they will be available for adoption. Really nice girls. Owners getting out of the breeding business. Has several more dogs to place also.

Truman now Toby living his best life! He is the silliest boy, always making faces and ready to cuddle. 💙🐾
