2025 SRS Season is officially over.
Cour’s Retrievers had a great year qualifying a record 12 dogs by one handler!

Podium finish!
3rd Place- Sierra’s Nevada MH QA2 “Nevada” owned by Deborah Koenig!!
Nevada had a fantastic week and we couldn’t be more proud of her and happy for Deb!
This also qualifies Nevada for 2026 Crown Championship!!

8th place-
SRSAC Waylon QA2 owned by Ernie D’Antoni!
Waylon’s first Open Crown appearance after 6 months off from a shoulder injury. Only getting back to training at the beginning of September. Very proud of Waylon!

Thank to the SRS Staff, marshalls, and judges for putting on 5 tough and challenging tests!

Cour’s Retrievers has moved to the Burton/Ledbetter area.
We are retriever training focused aswell as pet obedience and boarding facility.
We are looking for TWO hard working, clean and organized minded people.
Primary focus would be maintaining a clean and organized environment for the dogs and trainers at our facility.
Duties would include but not limited to
Letting dogs out to potty
Taking dogs on walks
Cleaning kennels and beds daily
Scooping potty yards daily
Bathing dogs when necessary or requested by owners of the dogs.
Assisting in feeding, pottying, and shutting down kennel for the night.

Shifts available but full time could be for the right person.
M-F 7am-10am & 4pm- close
Sat & Sun 7am-5pm (12-1 lunch)

2nd- Contender’s Ransom “Harper” owned by Andy Nguyen! Qualified Harper for Open Crown Championship!

4th- Ford’s Rolling Thin Blue Line QAA “Mack” owned by Donna and Rex Westbrook! Mack came in needing 2 more points to qualify and he got it done.
Mack punched his ticket to the Crown Championship!

5th- Steadfast’s Flyway Dreamin’ Dany “Dany” owned by Doug Appling. At just 3 years old this is only Dany’s second event! Congratulations Dany and Doug!

3 New Crown Qualifiers

We went to Vicksburg, MS and St Francisville, La for back to back SRS events last week to finish off our spring season.
3 more Crown Championship Qualifiers in the Open division bringing our team to a total 9 dogs qualified!
Now we get ready to head up to North Dakota to hit the summer circuit!

2nd Place- Cruz QA2 owned by Ernie D’Antoni, qualifies for Crown Championship!

3rd Place- Nevada MH QA2 owned by Deborah Koenig, qualifies for Crown Championship!

4th Place- Mays QA2 owned by Cour’s Retrievers, qualifies for Crown Championship!

Amite River SRS
