It’s the perfect time for your pet’s teeth to shine! ☀️

Routine dental care is more than just keeping bad breath at bay: annual cleanings help prevent buildup and diseases that can lead to bigger health issues like tooth disease, infections, and gingivitis—even kidney and heart disease. That's why we’re offering $100 OFF pet dental cleanings now through 4/1 (must be booked in February). Mention the code DENTAL100 at checkout. *Blood and urine testing must be completed within 30 days before dental cleanings. Offer valid from 2/1/25-4/1/25 when scheduled during the month of Febuary. Not to be combined with other offers or promotions. Offer valid for dental cleanings only.

It's a new year, a new month, and a new pet! Say hello to January's Pet of the Month, Moose!
Moose is a 4-month-old Golden Retriever. He likes to cause a lot of trouble! He eats his brothers’ food and then gets diarrhea, he likes to be nocturnal and keep mom up all night, and he refuses to stay in a crate. He also likes to flip his water bowl over and then gets upset when he gets himself wet...all that being said, at least he’s real cute!

🐾❄Paw safety & cold weather ❄🐾

Safe Salts: Many de-icing salts on sidewalks can cause irritation or even burns to your pet's paws. Please be sure to look for pet-friendly alternatives that are safer for their sensitive pads. If you're unsure, always wipe their paws clean after walks.

Sharp Ice: Ice and snow can hide sharp objects, creating a risk of cuts or injuries to your pet's paws. Be mindful of rough, frozen surfaces, and avoid walking in areas with sharp ice patches.

Thin ice: Avoid walking on frozen ponds, lakes, or streams where the ice may be thin. Thin ice can break easily, posing serious risks to both you and your pet. Stick to well-trodden paths and avoid any suspiciously slick or unstable areas.

🍪🐾 Happy Cookie Day from Arbor Veterinary Services! 🐾🍪

Today is the perfect day to treat yourself to a delicious cookie... but remember, not all cookies are pet-friendly! While you indulge in your sweet treats, keep your furry friends safe by keeping those chocolate chip, raisin, and xylitol-filled cookies out of paws' reach.

For your pets, why not bake some special pet-safe cookies? Here's a simple recipe:

1 cup of oats
1/2 cup of pumpkin puree
1 egg
A pinch of cinnamon
Mix, shape, and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes, and watch your pets’ tails wag with joy! 🍪🐶🐱

Remember, a treat for you is a treat for them too – but always keep it safe and healthy! Wishing you and your furry companions a paws-itively sweet day! 🐾💕
