4R Animal Mission Statement:

4R Animal Shelter is organized exclusively for charitable purposes to provide a safe haven for horses, and other equine and farm livestock that have become victims of neglect, abuse or abandonment, or whose owners are no longer able to care for them. The main goal is to rehabilitate, retrain and, when possible, to re-home these animals through a comprehensive adoption

process.

4R Animal Shelter will provide training, educational and therapy events for veterans, EMT's, Police Officers and Fire Fighters, support staff and families under an ongoing program using the shelter horses in support of an equine assisted psychotherapy setting.
4R Animal Shelter will offer public events to offer education on the process of rescuing animals.

Tipping. Time for tipping! 4R Animal Shelter brings in most of their yearly budget by making and selling wreaths. To do so takes a LOT of tips. So if you land and wish to donate, please just bring what you can. Drop off at 4R Animal Shelter in Lee, 202 Thomas Hill, and let the fun begin!! We make round ones and horse head ones. Order yours today!! Call or pm to have us build you a special one. 12" one sided round, $15, Horse Head $50. If we have to ship the price of shipping will be added to cost.

An art class came to meet the horses for a project 4R is working on. The horses, especially J7nior, we're very involved.

What a wonderful weekend for the tack sale. Sales were made. Volunteers had fun. Lots of goodies and coffee to share. We did some training with horses. I did some lessons. Sunday morning as a thank you for the help, several of us are going on a trail ride. I think 6 of us.

This friday and saturday, tack and bake sale at 4R Animal Shelter. 10-3. Grab a snack and cup of coffee while browsing through the offerings. Everything brought in will go towards the shelter residents. There are halters, bridles, saddles (english and western), blankets, boots, shipping boots, saddle pads and blankets, well, you get the idea...EVERYthing...
