On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor those brave men, women, and loyal dogs who have served and sacrificed to protect our freedom.

From military working dogs on the battlefield, to therapy and service dogs who stand beside our veterans and first responders, their loyalty and courage never go unnoticed. There is a quiet devotion and connection from the dogs who serve beside our military members and first responders.

Their sacrifice is not only physical, but it’s soulful. These beloved companions carry the weight of duty in their hearts, standing with love, courage, and a knowing of purpose that's beyond words.

These beloved companions understand the bond they share with their people and they give everything they have, not because they’re told to, but because they choose to.

My beloved friend and co-pilot Chewy crossed over on June 9th of 2024. I will be coming up on the 1 year since his passing. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't think of him or wish he was still here. I know in my heart he will always be with me and will always be my friend. It's still hard.

I also know that I am who I am today because of Chewy! He showed me how to embrace life with easy, grace, fun and joy! He showed me how to grow as a soul and to believe in myself!

This song captures the sentiments exactly!! I dedicate this song to all those souls who have lost a beloved pet companion. Know in your heart that you are better because of your beloved companion!❤️🙏🐾

It's such an honor to be apart of this wonderful community!

Thank You for Making the 4th Annual Doggy Easter Egg Hunt a Huge Success!

We’re still wagging with joy from this year’s Doggy Easter Egg Hunt and want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the day so special.

🥳Because of our amazing community, we exceeded our fundraising goal of $2K. We ended up with a grand total of $2,492.53 which will be split and donated to our Charitable Partners.🥳

🐾 First, a huge shoutout to Muddy Road Brewery and their staff for graciously hosting us once again and going above and beyond with their generosity. Not only did they provide the perfect setting for a fun and safe gathering, but they also donated their delicious homemade root beer for the floats at Mary’s Dogs and contributed a raffle prize. We’re incredibly grateful for their ongoing support and community spirit.

🐾 Our incredible event team deserves a big round of applause. This year’s crew was entirely new to this event—but you wouldn’t have known it! They quickly learned the ropes, worked together seamlessly, and ensured a smooth, fun, and safe experience for all. Many of our past team members have “retired” from working the event so they can enjoy it with their own pups—a problem we’re proud to have! This new team truly stepped up and made us proud.

🐾 A heartfelt thank you to our amazing event partners, who donated items for the Wag Bags and created engaging and enriching experiences at every activity station. Because of their creativity and care, our egg hunt wasn’t just a search for treats—it was a full adventure, filled with sensory fun, learning, and joy for both dogs and their people.
