Pet Supplies Plus - Lees Summit, MO Established in 1988. Pet Supplies Plus was started in 1988 in Redford, Michigan. The chain's founders, Harry Shallop and Jack Berry had a terrific idea.

There are over 400 stores in more than 30 states, with more than half of them being individually owned and operated. They wanted to bring supermarket-style convenience and value to the pet food and supply industry.
