Tucker is a 5-year-old neutered male Dutch bunny whose love language is physical touch. He thumps and runs laps around his pen until he is picked up, then he becomes a very, very happy boy. He loves to cuddle and be held! Tucker has excellent litter box skills and eats all of his pellets but is still learning to eat hay. Tucker came from a family with children, a dog, and a cat. He was good friends with the dog and cat so he would likely enjoy an animal friend in his new home. He also wants a home where he will be handled and cuddled every day. If you are interested in Tucker, please email us at [email protected].

Augusta and her daughters and have all been spayed and are bonded together. They are all great with their litter boxes and are big hay eaters. They also love their evening salads and any treats! Momma enjoys her head rubs, and like her son Hamilton, melts into the floor. Angelica (brown) and Eliza (white) prefer not to be pet, as of now, but will come up and see what’s going on when their foster mom is in their area or while she is making salad. None of them enjoy being picked up or held. They are all quite active, especially the girls, and love playing in their tunnels! They also are chewers and need lots of good things to chew on (like palm plates and apple sticks) as well as a large area to play. They’d love a home with a well bunny proofed room to exercise and lots of time out. If you are interested in this bonded trio, please email us at [email protected].

***LET’S GET THIS SWEET BOY INTO HIS FOREVER HOME!!! PLEASE SHARE!!!***

Kirk is a neutered male, estimated to have been born around October/November of 2021. He was rescued as a baby from a situation where too many rabbits were being kept outside in a small shed. He is currently rooming with his litter mates (Spock, Uhura, McCoy, and Scotty) and would most likely make a great pair with any of them. He is doing well with his litterbox and is a very good hay eater. He loves to snuggle with his brothers and sisters and would likely warm up to humans quickly if given the chance. He loves his pellets and any type of greens. If you are interested in Kirk, please email us at [email protected].

Ed is a two-year-old neutered male who came from a situation where too many rabbits were kept together in a shed outdoors. While he was living in this overcrowded situation, he suffered some injuries to his back that needed to be treated when he was brought to the vet. The vet had to shave his back to treat the punctures, but the hair is growing back nicely now and will probably not even be noticeable in the future! Despite his rough start in life, he is a very sweet boy now, albeit camera shy. He is a little shy at first, but he can easily be bribed with treats like apples and bananas. He also loves to eat greens, hay, and pellets. He may do well with a spayed female to spend the rest of his days with. If you are interested in Ed, please email us at [email protected].

Snow and Tofu are bonded siblings who are very sweet. Both are neutered/spayed. The female, Tofu, is still shy but will come out for pets when she feels comfortable. She will do her binkies as well. Snow loves his bananas still!!! They both go nuts for their little pellets. He gets the zoomies and binkies almost every evening. They run up to their foster parents first thing in the morning and lay down for morning pets. They don’t like to be picked up. She will never let you pick her up. He will let you hold him for a few minutes then he’s done with it. They do great with their litter box and they love their lettuce. Throughout the day they are very content and will just sprawl out in the middle of the floor by each other to sleep and they appear to feel very safe. He is very curious and will stand on his hind legs a lot trying to look around. They will not come off their carpet. They certainly do not like the wood floor so they have a little carpet runner from their cage into the kitchen. They love to run in when they think they are about to get a treat and they love to jump up into their bunny house. If you are interested in this bonded pair, please email us at [email protected].

***Spock is waiting so patiently for his forever home!!!***

Spock is a neutered male, estimated to have been born around October/November of 2021. He was rescued as a baby from a situation where too many rabbits were being kept outside in a small shed. He is currently rooming with his litter mates (Kirk, Uhura, McCoy, and Scotty) and would most likely make a great pair with any of them. He can often be found snuggling his brothers and sisters, and it is logical that he would also snuggle up to a human who could spend some time earning his trust. He does well with his litterbox and loves to eat anything he gets – hay, pellets, and greens!

Let’s get this boy home for the holidays!!! If you are interested in Spock, please email us at [email protected].

DO YOU KNOW THAT RABBITS:

• Need as much care and attention as dogs and cats.
• Should live indoors, as members of the family.
• Most children lose interest in a live bunny after only a few weeks.
• All bunnies need to be spayed or neutered even when living alone.
• Can learn to use a litter box.
• Are not "low-maintenance" pets.
• Are a poor choice as a pet for children.
• Have a lifespan of 10 years and require as much work as a dog or cat.
• Your home must be bunny- proofed, or bunny will chew cords and furniture.
• Rabbits must be spayed and neutered or they will mark your house with f***s and urine.

SO PLEASE, STICK WITH A TOY STUFFED BUNNY WHEN GIVING A CHRISTMAS GIFT TO A CHILD.

Uhura is a spayed female who is estimated to have been born in October or November of 2021. As a baby, she was rescued from an overcrowding situation near Topeka. She is currently living with her littermates (Spock, Kirk, McCoy, and Scotty) and would most likely make a great bonded pair with any of them. She is a little smaller than all her other brothers, but she loves to snuggle with them and make a bunny vortex by running around in circles with them when it’s time for their pellets. She enjoys being pet when on the ground and would warm up to a human friend with patience and plenty of treats. She is neat with her litterbox and loves her timothy and orchard grass hay. If you are interested in Uhura, please email us at [email protected].

This pair was rescued by the neighbors of the people who had them and moved away… leaving the bunnies behind in an outdoor cage. Peter is the brown lop, and Scrunch is his lovely wife. Both are neutered/spayed, and we think they are about 2 years old. Because they were outside previously, they are a little afraid of noises and will run for their hideout for safety (sort of like PTSD…every little noise reminds you of the outside war zone you lived in previously). They are very bonded, and Scrunch likes to follow Peter around wherever he goes. They are timid when meeting new humans because as outside rabbits, they weren’t used to interacting with humans that often. Once comfortable, they love coming to you for pets. Their potty skills are good and hopefully will improve even more over time. They love eating lettuce leaves, fruits such as apples and grapes (given in limited amounts, of course). They really enjoy their stackable cups that are filled with pellets. They are quite busy much of the time, now being able to explore their new surroundings without the confine of an outdoor hutch. Peter and Scrunch are super sweet, and have already adjusted to their new foster home, for which their foster mom is thrilled. If you would like to adopt Peter and Scrunch, please email us at [email protected].
