Training your dog can be challenging, but don't get discouraged!
Some dogs may greatly benefit from the expertise and support of a certified trainer – especially if they are experiencing behavioral issues. These issues can worsen over time and pose a safety risk to others.

Our feline friends need the occasional mani pedis too! In this clip we will walk you through how to trim your cat’s nails with confidence.
Tips:
Choose the right size trimmers
A calm environment reduces stress
Scratching posts or mats helps keep the nail filed down.
Play with your cats feet so they are used to you holding their paws.

We know trimming nails can be intimidating. We are
here to help! Taking too much can cause stress on
your pet but knowing what to look for can prevent that experience.
However, incase too much is taken off, you can use some everyday items (flour, baking powder, or corn starch) to clot the bleeding.
Our wonderful technicians recorded a
video to help you through it!
Can you spot the heartworm?
Preventing your pet from getting heartworms is too easy! All it takes is a monthly chewable or a yearly shot!
All pets are at risk of infection no matter how little they go outside. Heartworms are spread by mosquitoes and mosquitoes are found in every corner of the United States. Keeping your pet protected year round and not just in the summer is crucial. Most preventatives can only protect your pet from ineffective larvae. Once the larvae molts into a juvenile, prevention is too late.
In six months the larvae will mature into worms that can reach a length of 12 inches! These worms thrive on your pet’s vital organs.
Ask your vet what is the best protection for your pet at your next appointment!
