We're counting down to Home for the Holidays by shining a spotlight on a few of our longer-stay animals.

First up, meet Marshmallow! He's been waiting for 143 days to find a home to call his very own. Marshmallow loves playing fetch and will happily shower you with kisses. He knows a few tricks and has even accompanied some of our volunteers out to a restaurant for a patio lunch where he proudly displayed his good-boy-sit! Here at the shelter, Marshmallow has done well with other laid-back dogs.

Marshmallow’s favorite things? Back scratches, stretching out in the backseat for road trips (snoring included!), and spending time with his favorite people. Could you be the one to give Marshmallow the cozy home he deserves this holiday season?

🎁Marshmallow will head home with a full month of training classes and a goodie bag full of his favorite toys! Stop by the shelter and ask about Marshmallow today, we are open 11am-6pm for adoptions!

It's ⭐️National Veterinary Technician Week ⭐️and we are CELEBRATING ALL our superstar LVT - Licensed Technicians do for our Patients, Pet Parents, Veterinarians, and one another! They are hard at work behind the scenes every day - and any time we send a call for extra help? They answer that too!

Woof!! (Thank You!)

Our Food Drive has been ongoing and we've made 2 trips to the Pet Pantry with your generous donations of pet food 🧡 Nearly 300 lbs so far!! If you would like to donate a bag or cans of food to those struggling to feed their pets - our lobby and cart are waiting!

Small bags of food are given out via Loudoun Hunger Relief and Loudoun County Animal Services Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services and Humane Society of Loudoun County and helps keep pets and families together as pets are able to remain in their own home-- and not a shelter!
