Leo has been around for a while. His foster said he can be a handful, but we can keep posting him in hopes that a special person will come along for him.
Leo came to FARM in need of a forever home. He is a 6–7 year-old, 9 pound Chihuahua mix. Leo is a charming, leggy little guy who is super low key and pretty quiet. He is always overjoyed to see me when I come home, his butt wiggling like crazy with excitement. Leo’s favorite activities include eating snacks and snuggling under blankets. However, like many chihuahuas, Leo can be selective about whom he befriends although he does well with other dogs. He thrives in a quiet environment and a home with a fenced yard is preferred, as he loves spending time outside. Leo’s ideal home would have no children and only adults who are tolerant and respectful of his boundaries. A visit with Leo will require repeated visits and a lot of patience to earn his love. Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment.
