Here is your Ruby Slipper. RS is a 12 yr, 7 lb Yorkie mix, house broken, sweet but sassy from living on the streets… loves to dress up, have head rubs and is longing for a forever home. Still in the fearful stage just needs someone to love her while she regains her trust. This gal was a brought in covered in fleas and it has done a number on her skin. Ruby Slipper would love to just hang and heal. She is clicking her heels 3 times and saying, "there is no place like home".

K9 Lifesavers would love to highlight Archie!

Hi, I'm Archie! I've been waiting a LONG time to find my forever home. I absolutely LOVE all people, adults, kids - everyone - but I am a people dog, not a dog's dog. In other words, I prefer to be your ONE an ONLY as I have so much love to give! I have been in a foster home (where I thrived and was quite well behaved, even housetrained), and I went through some leash training but my fosters were getting busy and could not keep me. I really miss being in a home, so I am hoping that someone who is looking for an older but still active dog would adopt me! I'd be a great companion for anyone with a fenced yard (I love to enjoy nature) and who also enjoys a good cuddle on the couch! I am very strong on leash, and since I do react to other dogs, I am really quite content to have the run of a nice fenced yard, and your devoted love an attention! If I sound like a dream to you, please come meet my adorable smile!

Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) is so happy to highlight Happy!

I’m Happy, an outgoing canine who loves to play! When I’m hungry, nothing satisfies me more than a nice big hunk of cheese.
I’m an affectionate pup who blossoms in the company of someone compassionate, tender, and patient, who can bring out the best in my playful and vibrant personality!

Playing with my shelter-mates in the yard is the highlight of my day. There’s something incredibly joyful about the freedom to run, chase, and wrestle with my friends. As we dart around the yard, tails wagging furiously and tongues lolling out in excitement, I can’t help but feel a surge of happiness. sessions.

The Cats at Longstreet are thrilled to have Old Mill highlight Hanna!

Hanna is a sweet lady and a real character: this lady knows her own mind. She knows what she thinks, and you are not going to change her opinion. So maybe that makes her the quintessential cat? One of the things she likes is pets, especially ear-rubs. She really leans into those and rewards you with the most wonderful purr. One of the things she is pretty sure she doesn't like is other cats! So, we are requiring her to be your one and only. That's what she wants and what Hanna wants, Hanna gets. LOL. She has recovered from illness, but she has a mild allergy she gets a daily pill for. But since she is a toothless wonder, that's no big deal -- and think of the savings on dental treatment. :)

Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) would love to highlight Rollo!

Hello, I’m Rollo! Look at me—don’t you think I’m one handsome and charming fellow? I’m a fun and goofy boy with a lot of hobbies to keep me busy. Here at the shelter, I love going on long walks with some pretty cool friends, but I’m really hoping to find a family of my very own!
FOHA is a great place to crash while I wait, but the play yard is where the magic happens. I love meeting up with all my doggy pals—zooming around and just hanging out is the best! The more the merrier when it comes to dog friends. They make me so happy!
I fancy myself a treat lover and, believe it or not, a lap dog! I’ve been on some awesome adventures, too. One of the staff members even took me to a brewery to watch a game—I spent most of my time watching them eat fries, hoping they’d drop one! I’d love to hang out on your couch and watch some games or even enjoy a movie marathon together.

Twinkle is very gentle and sweet. She enjoys hanging out in the cat tree near her foster mom in case she needs any help when she's working, and greets her in the morning by jumping on the bed and sniffing her face to let her know breakfast is late! Twinkle is always up for a good game of chase and wrestle with her sister. This petite little girl would do best in a quiet type of home where she and Trista will blossom."

Treat #1: Tuna Cat Treats

Ingredients:
- 6 oz can of tuna in water (undrained)
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup of water

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix all ingredients into bowl.
3. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into desired shape.
4. Place on parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.

*Treats should not exceed 10% of your pet's total daily caloric intake and should not be ingested if it contains food that they, or their owners, are known to be allergic to. *

Ingredient:
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1 cucumber- finely diced

Instructions:
1. Combine yogurt and cucumber in bowl and stir together.
2. Divide into desired silicone mold.
3. Freeze for 2-3 hours.

*Treats should not exceed 10% of your pet's total daily caloric intake and should not be ingested if it contains food that they, or their owners, are known to be allergic to. *

-. 1 1/4 cup oat flour
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
- 1/3 cup oats

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Stir oat flour, strawberries, and peanut butter together until dough forms.
3. Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into desired shape.
4. Place on parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.

Ingredient:
- your pet's specific prescription diet food in canned form (I/D, Z/D, C/D, K/D)
- water

Instructions:
1. Mash up 1/2 of a prescription can into a bowl.
2. Add 1/3 cup of water
3. Stir ingredients together until consistency of gravy.
4. Pour over meal and watch your furry family member enjoy!
