Lee County Animal Shelter takes in dogs that are picked up by Lee County Animal Control. We take in stray cats and dogs found in Lee County by citizens of Lee County and try to get animals back to their owners or adopted to a new forever home! We are open Monday thru Friday from 9am until 4pm.

How has no one adopted this sweet girl ????

***I Got Adopted*** This is Candy. She gets her name from being as sweet as candy ! She is estimated to be a 2 year old pit mix. She is a medium size dog. As you can see in this video she like to throw the ball into the air and get it herself ! She loves to run around in the yard …. Especially with a tennis ball ! We arent sure of what she's been through before she came to the shelter but we know she deserves a happy, loving home. Her adoption fee is $43.33. That includes her spay, rabies, microchip, distemper, kennel cough and heartworm test. Candy is heartworm negative !
