We call Nana “Upside-Down-Dog”. Can you guess why? 😁🐶
Nana loves snuggles and cuddles. She’s a gentle and shy soul who loves spending time with her people, showing off her happy zoomies or trying her best to crawl into your lap. Nana’s love can be easily earned with some patience, tasty treats and belly rubs too! Nana loves playing with her dog friends at the shelter and might do well with a dog sibling in her future home.
Interested in meeting Nana? Stop by the shelter, we are open 11am-6pm for adoptions!

Blueberries for breakfast! Our small animals love getting a fresh fruit treat!
Did you know that blueberries are a tasty and nutritious treat for rabbits and chinchillas too? Like all treats, blueberries should only be given sparingly and as part of a well-balanced diet. A high-quality hay should make up the majority of a chinchilla's and rabbit's diet!
Interested in learning more about small animals? Thinking about adopting a small animal friend? Come by the shelter and talk to our adoption counselors about their specific needs to see if a rabbit or chinchilla is the right fit for you! We are open 11am-6pm for adoptions!

Pavement can heat up quick! Before walking your dog, hold the back of your hand to the pavement for 7 seconds. If it is too hot for you to hold it there, it is too hot for your dog's paws.
At just 85 degrees, pavement starts heating up to the point where it can burn your dog's paws. During this heat wave please be mindful of when and where you walk your dog! Try walking early in the morning or later in the evening. Pick indoor activities or walk in the grass to protect your dog's paw pads.
