Polly Anna Belle
Is home! Faithful Companion brought her home to me earlier today .
We are so happy she is back at her forever place.

I want to thank all of you for sharing your expressions of love and loss with us. This has been a terrible journey for our precious tiny girl and our pack family. The entire pack certainly is somewhat subdued since she crossed … they miss her too. Not a one of them even slept with me the last two nights. Polly was always the first one to settle in her spot every night and then they would join us…. But not right now. It’s a transition that will take all of us time.
Again, thank you all so much. We greatly appreciate each of you…💞

I was at the ER center when the SLED K9 Officer, Coba, came in so badly injured. It was just heartbreaking to witness the absolute pain, love and respect of so many that were there for him. The processional for him was one of great respect by the officers attending. What a tragedy for anyone to take the life of this dedicated K9 officer. I pray that the penalty is the same as for any other Police Officer 💔

Let me re-introduce Hollow Creek’s Holly Belle to you! She had the green collar as a baby.
Holly originally went to NJ at 8 weeks…. But it just didn’t work out. That happens…. But rarely, thank goodness. Anyway, we welcomed her back “home” last Friday. I always promise to take back any pup that needs it…. Sadly, I’ve even taken in pups of other breeders when they unbelievably decline.

Holly is just 5 months old and is the “child” of Fancy and Woody. She looks very much like her cousins Gabby and Gerti!
Introducing her to the lake was fun! She plunged in head down and sank! Sputtering back to the top… she did it again and again! She is a water dog without fear…..and by today, it’s difficult to keep her out of the water as she heads straight there upon release every time! She very sociable, friendly, determined, resilient and is a shadow while walking. We will continue to evaluate her desire and obedience …. And will update you now and then….💞Just say … Hello … to this baby girl!

Mother’s Day is coming… if you still have her, treat her like the blessing she is …..

Be gentle with your Mother…
There are times that a quick, short answer jumps out of your mouth. Full of sharp edges that draw blood. And you look away so you don’t need to see the pain you know you caused.
Half of what she does, you don’t understand. The things she allows leave you cold and irritate you.
One moment you want to fold her in your arms, the next you wish you could just shake her a bit.
One day it will all make sense to you.
The things she never told you about, are the very things that hollowed out her insides and then built her up again, so she can carry more and more where no-one can see the weight. Those things that sometimes break her where you can actually see it, even though you prefer not to.
Her eyes notice everything, yet she keeps so much to herself. She steps back and offers her hope for the sake of her child’s happiness. The gratitude she deserves for doing that is far and few between, yet her flame of gratitude reaches close to the Heavens.
Should you be blessed enough to still have her breathing the air of this earth, it’s time you start digging in your gratitude-archives and find the warmth in your heart, the forgiveness in your voice and the same amazement you had as a toddler for her. I beg of you to please, today and every day, be gentle with your Mother.
Because the day will come that her morning greeting will no longer be.
Her words “I love you my child” will no longer be.
Her voice will no longer be heard.
All that will be left are memories……
Be gentle with your Mother. ❤

Nib and Sandy are accomplished in other venues …. But this was their first hunting title! Way to go! So very proud of both of you! It’s so exciting when one of “your babies” excels… gotta brag a little!

I’m not able to tag you on Facebook but wanted to let you know that Nib completed his JH this weekend at the Clumber Spaniel
National hunt test. This was the upland/spaniel test and my first title in this type of field event. Conditions were tough on Saturday during the flushing part as it was very wet with no wind. One of the judges today called him a “bird finding machine” and I think that describes him very well.
