We would like to formally introduce our newest NewMoon litter:

“The Lunar Dynasty” (Vesta/Kerran)
born 11.30.24

We welcomed 7 healthy and hardy puppies, all well over a pound! There are 3 boys(1 dual, 1 sable and 1 black) and 4 girls (2 duals and 1 sable).

We decided to name this litter in ode to our Matriarch, Luna Rae. Luna was my first Shiloh who was everything to me. She was the reason for NewMoon and all that’s come with it. When she passed, Vesta stepped right up into Luna’s role as my right hand lady. Vesta also happened to be the only puppy Luna took to and loved from the start! So in ode to Luna, they are all named after moons of planets in our solar system 🪐🌕 New little moons if you will….

Introducing in birth order:

Rhea(Moon of Saturn)- Yellow Collar Sable Female

Cordelia(Moon of Uranus)- Purple Collar Dual Female

Deimos(Moon of Mars)- Red Collar Black Male

Kale(Moon of Jupiter)- Green Collar Dual Male

Hydra(Moon of Pluto)- Fuchsia Collar Sable Female

Tethys(Moon of Saturn)- Tan Collar Sable Male

Despina(Moon of Neptune)- Pink Collar Sable Female

We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome of this litter and cannot wait to watch them grow 🩷

The Vesta/Kerran pups have arrived!

Vesta welcomed 7 healthy babies overnight into the morning hours (3 boys and 4 girls)! All are healthy and doing well. Stay tuned for newborn photos and litter theme announcement once we recover from the all nighter!

We didn’t announce these plans publicly initially, but as some of you know we bred our boy Kepler(Mystic/Zane) to Emmi(Nova/Odin) last month. Unfortunately we caught her too late in her heat cycle and the breeding did not take. We wanted to keep those we were in contact with about this potential pairing in the loop!

We will be trying this pairing again sometime this coming year and are hoping for a better outcome!

For now… we are awaiting the arrival of Vesta and Kerran’s pups after Thanksgiving!

Happy 1st Birthday to our Emmi/Chaba kids! This entire litter was full of kind, fun and happy puppies who are now succeeding at a young age in therapy, service dog and family homes!

HOME PENDING

NewMoon Shiloh’s has an upgradable female from the Stormi/Kerran litter (out of Moonlight Shiloh’s) to a select home! Born 8/20/24 and ready to go home 11/15 or later.

This all black girl (purple collar in the litter) is laid back with a touch of sass. She enjoys playtime and shows good play drive but is very middle ground energy wise. She loves people and will be easily motivated by treats, toys and praise. She has been raised in a busy home with children and all of the protocols we follow at NewMoon when it comes to puppy raising. We could see her fitting into a variety of home situations but are specifically looking for a family or individual willing to partake in our mentorship program to help improve the breed. If you are interested in helping the breed but want some help to step into the Shiloh world this may be the opportunity for you! We are hoping to keep her in the Northeast/Pennsylvania area but are willing to discuss placement elsewhere if appropriate.
