We discovered last week that we have a chocolate brownie expert in our home!!! He approved 👍🏼 (of the entire tin!) and somehow, without a single sign of sickness. I've always believed dogs+chocolate = death sentence so needless to say, I only panicked "a little bit" 🥴🫠🤦🏼‍♀️

Woooooof! What an amazing turnout for the "Barkcuterie" Christmas boxes!!!! I told my husband I only wanted to do 10 and he insisted to start with 20. My confidence was super low due to the fact our page had been quiet, I waited to the last minute to post for Christmas orders and overall just feeling like nobody would "care to buy". I ended up having to tap myself out at 43 boxes, spoiling 48+ dogs & a hedgehog!!! Orders were still rolling in as of yesterday and anyone who knows me knows, I hate having to turn someone away. We easily could have done 75+ with the amount of messages received in the last few days 😳

I'd like to thank (again!) each and every customer & supporter of every way. This year had been one of the worst I've experienced in my 32 years. I found this business (& my friends) to be my saving grace and I would not be here (or where I am in the business) without you & them. Thank you for trusting us for your pet treat needs! AND, thank you to our amazing customers for the Christmas goodies, cards, very generous tips, kind words and encouragement! This weekend's deliveries have me feeling over the moon & revived!

Santa Paws made his rounds & the pictures are starting to come in from the lucky dogs who received a box! Send or tag us in your pics! We would love to see their excitement!!!

Christmas order "pupdate"! 😉‼️

I'm working hard on adding the finishing touches and contacting everyone for meets/delivery throughout the weekend into Monday!

We ended with 43 boxes that will be spoiling a whopping 48 dogs! This was by far the best gift box sale to date!!! Overwhelming to say the least but they turned out so cute!

Orders are still trying to come in and I am soooo sorry, I AM TAPPED!

I don't think this little tin of magic gets the recognition it deserves! It's something we rarely talk about on here, however, if you've visited our booth at any given event, there's a good chance you've heard us mention how amazing it really is! Packed with moisturizing (& healing!) properties, this concoction is perfect for any dry/rough areas, dry and cracked paws, nose, even that dry spot on their elbow you may have noticed! I personally LOVE using it on my own paws as well 😆

Which leads me to my own testimony! Last night before bed, my hands were extremely dry, cracked and painful with tiny cuts around my knuckles. I lathered up and purposely left my hands a greasy mess in hopes of the irritation & itchiness to go away quick. 10/10 recommend! Woke up with no cuts, silky smooth hands and the best looking cuticles around 🤪

Customers have been loving the results and have asked for bigger tins! I'm about to place an order for more but I'd like to know:
Would you rather "roll on" like a deodorant/chapstick style or keep in a tin/jar base?!

We had the best day at the Gentle Giant Palooza! We made many two and four-legged friends, the dogs were giving two paws up over the treats and we were totally gushing over each and every one of them! Even so much that we almost brought home two sisters that are available for adoption!! 🥹😬 Go meet Kiwi and Guava at Fort Defiance Humane Society! They are the sweetest 😍🐾

This is what I am looking for when asking myself what I want out of this business. Watching pure joy and happiness from the owners and the pets! I love telling our story. I love watching your pup enjoy our treats. I love watching everyone (the kids especially) go crazy and say "the treats are just sooo cute!" I love offering a product that I know is 100% safe and much healthier vs what we are used to buying in the big stores.

My heart is so full 🩷🩷🩷

Oh, Paris 💔
It's been one year without my best friend, my partner in crime, our first born fur baby, and the inspiration behind the business. She had the eyes and sassy personality to catch the love of anyone she met. Paris was found dumped on a back country road at approximately 4 weeks old and had been my bff for a wonderful 14 years. The memories and love we shared are what I cling to every single day. Her loss has been so profound on my heart and soul that it was a consideration to not continue with the business. I knew deep down it would be a complete injustice for not only our Buddy, Callie, and Abigail, but for all of the other pets we have come to know and love.

The day before her passing, I had her at the vet for some concerns. Dr. Tracy comes back to the room without her, and takes me into a little dark closet and shares with me it's time, right now. There was not a chance I wouldn't take her back home to at least say goodbye to her daddy and fur-siblings. So that's what we did and scheduled for euthanasia 2 days later. We cherished the next 24 hours and when we woke up, her condition had taken a turn for the worse. There was no way we could let her little heart suffer any longer. A call was made, and we moved up the dreaded appointment. Before leaving home, Brandan handed her one last treat, not expecting her to take it. It was the one and only thing she ate that day. We started the drive by me holding and comforting her, but within 5 minutes, I could tell she was not comfortable. We pulled over and I placed her in the back seat. As we were just 5 minutes away from the office, I am noticing her become relaxed and finally deciding to lay down. While I'm petting her, telling her how much mama loves her and we're almost there, she took her last breath. 😭 It was truly one of the most traumatizing experiences.

From that day forward, the days were dark and long, not knowing how I would ever cope with such a tremendous loss. I knew business would have to continue on in her memory. That was when the idea hit to make this endeavor personal and the treat names were created: "Paris' Peanut Butter Pumpkin" — the last thing she ever consumed. If you've ever visited my booth at any given event, that's her there with us! 🩷 She has captured hearts, even through a photo.

I hope mama made you proud, Lil rat. Life hasn't been the same and I can still hear your little yippy bark or think that's you blended into the carpet in your favorite spot. We miss you terribly but find comfort in always remembering the amazing life you shared with us, the unconditional love you gave and the smiles that were had. We love you baby girl! 🫶🏼🐾✨️🌈
