Making a Difference, Everyday! These horses are not owned by ARM, nor do we guarantee the accuracy of any information provided.

This page is being provided as a networking tool for anyone who is looking to, knows of or is helping horses in need of new homes. We have not seen these horses, nor are they in the custody and control of ARM, its affiliates or agents. Please keep your posts positive, anti-inflammatory and proven information and pictures on the horse(s) needing homes. ARM will also be posting horses available for

re-homing through ARM. Again, we do not own the horses nor have we evaluated them. We are providing information for owners wishing or needing to find homes for their horses and want them to go to an ARM approved home.

Norman is looking for a new home. "He is a registered Arabian gelding 14 years old this past May. I purchased him a little over a year ago. He was owned by a man in Alabama for 9 years. I was looking for a riding partner that I can advance my horsemanship with. He was a competitive trail horse and I thought he would be a good fit. I have had issues with him since I bought him that have improved but he is still not sound. In june I had him xrayed and he has osteo arthritis in his right coffin bone joint and some slight arthritis in left hock. At best he would need more maintenance (if riding) than I can afford. I would like to see him be a companion horse and not ridden. He is in good health and up to date on all vaccinations, hoof care and diet. other than stated above. He does enjoy attention and is a character. Loves to push a ball and we do some liberty. He is bossy but kind. Everyone that has met him likes him, very personable and funny. I have a lot of background history on him via much diligent research trying to figure him out. He is very handsome." Owner is looking for a companion home, but he may sound up for light riding and make a nice weekend trail horse. He is SE, probably AK (DS not working) with lines to Anaza El Farid, Shaikh Al Badi and Imperial Mahdeen.

I am getting quite a few messages about other people asking for donations and asking me to help them with this herd. Let me make it clear, I don't care who takes credit for "saving" these horses but the ones feeding them and paying for that feed is ARM and the property owners. They have access to their own paypal we set up so the donations are going directly to these horses. And while FB doesn't disperse for a month or more, we are providing funds until that time and so are the property owners.

We are also working on finding fosters and permanent homes, so if interested PM for an application. There are 50 left today. 15 have already moved into foster care.

In the meantime, they are being fed and health will improve until they are moved.

So please be careful. Unfortunately with social media, this happens all the time. Know who you are donating to and for what. Thanks everyone and be safe. Happy New Year!
