Happy June 1st!
Today marks the first day of Hurricane Season.
π
Because we do not have a physical location, and we are an in-YOUR-home based business, we rely heavily on your help setting your pets up for success.
Emergency contacts. Please remind your emergency contacts that they are responsible for the care of your pet(s) in the event of an emergency. Inform them of your travel plans. Prep them in the event they need to house your pet(s), and/or evacuate with your pet(s). Give them your pets care info, vaccination info. Make sure they have access to your house, preferably 2 methods (example: traditional key and/or keypad access). Give them our business card, have them save our phone number in their phones so that we easily be connected and work together to keep your pets safe.
ID your pets. Microchip and/or ID tag.
If your pet has a history of storm anxiety, please message us so that we can discuss a plan for your individual pet.
Leashes, harnesses, collars, kennels, Cat carriers, etc. We need clean supplies available please. We want to keep your pets dressed and contained in what they're familiar with.
Extra food and gallons of water available.
Ensure your fence gates/locks are operating correctly and securely.
Confirm you have the medication your pet needs on a regular basis as well as if your pet takes any additional medication during storms.

We appreciate you and your unwavering love for your pets! We know you will be watching the weather with us this Hurricane season, and taking your pets into account prior to leaving for your trips. Storms big and small, not even necessarily hurricanes, it never hurts to be prepared. Thank you for helping us take the necessary precautions that allow us to keep your pets safe!
* Cancellations due to an impending storm will NOT incur any fees. Safety is the priority.
Stay safe, friends!
