Post your questions about the new book. I'll start with the most common questions thus far. The answer is the same for all of them

Q1: I don't need help finding a rescue dog. Will this book still help?

Q2: I didn't rescue my dog. Will this book still help?

Q3: Will this book help with behavior X?

Answer:
While the book's title contains verbiage specific to rescue dogs, only part 1 of the four part book covers finding "rescue dogs". But, even part 1 can help with any dog acclimating to you and your environment and help you prepare your home however your dog came to you.
As for training and behavior, the majority of the book covers most training and behaviors that dog owners need help with. I'll post the table of contents.

Got my 2nd proof back.

Had to fix some alignment issues. And, I decided to add three more chapters. :)

Rizby has done amazing during his time here. The foundation is established. Now he just needs his forever human. At minimum, a foster home would be better than going back to a kennel environment. Rizby is fairly dog neutral. But, a foster home would need to be open and able to "crate and rotate" and to continue the foundation we established here. Rizby is available thru Pender County Humane Society here in NC. He's a few years old, sweet and playful. A home with a yard is my recommendation to the rescue.

As many of you know, I wrote my 5th book 2 years ago. Unfortunately, the publisher decided to cancel its release at the 11th hour. However, my non-compete clause expires soon. So, I will be re-editing it and releasing it on my own.

I also need to change the cover and the interior artwork to my own intellectual property. I will also be rearranging and adding content that the publisher was not aligned with.

As soon as it's done, I will be releasing it as a low cost PDF while the hard copy process is finalized. "Old" cover Pic attached for reference.

The name of the boom is TBD as I'm floating around a few ideas....

I'm making a run up to northern NJ Tuesday (leaving NC early a.m.).

Have room for 1 dog on the way up and 2 on the way back down.

On the way up, I can stop anywhere along i95,.but cannot do door to door. I can do door-to-door on the way back down or wherever you need..

Been feeding Raw to my dogs for about 22 years (at least 10 of my personal dogs in total over the years - not all my dogs over the years were raw fed, and then some rescues/fosters also ate raw).

Sometimes I fed twice a day, sometimes once a day. So, conservatively - based on one meal per day - I have personally fed at least 80,000 raw meals to my dogs of varying ages and health statuses, and different proteins - mostly beef and chicken. Dogs were mostly Pit Bulls and Shih Tzus.

Not a single dog ever got sick from eating an appropriate raw diet. Ever. Not a single one.

In only the past 10 years, thousands upon thousands of dogs died, allegedly from dry dog food: bloat, bacteria, toxicity, foreign matter, etc

Tell me again how dangerous feeding raw is. Lmao
