Roger was killed today at Russell County Phenix City Animal Control. We are so devastated. He was such a sweet and good boy. So what was the reason? Once again that good old excuse “ fence fighting “. For the love of all that is holy….this needs to stop! Good, healthy animals are needlessly killed. What is going on there? Why are dogs being killed over and over again for “ fence fighting “? At this point, the staff should be well versed in how to prevent “fence fighting” since it supposedly happens so frequently at this animal control. We are so heartbroken that Roger will never get his happy ever after. All he wanted was to love and be loved. Rest in Peace Beautiful Angel. 💔😭
