How to get through the "bad days." You know those days that nothing is going the way you planned it to go.

Maybe your dog was reactive today or wouldn't do any commands without having to give treats, we've all been there (yes even me).

Here are some things to do:
1. Take a deep breath! The calmer you are the calmer your dog is going to be.

2. Ask yourself this "what could be causing this bad day?" Could you be stressed or anxious and making your dog anxious? Could you have pulled or tugged the leash and made your dog think they had to be defensive?

3. Try again tomorrow. When all else fails trying again a different day isn't a bad thing.

Training isn't a fix all, cure all. There are going to be tough days. Don't give up and keep training!

Reactivity could look like a number of different things including: lunging, growling, barking, nipping, etc.

Remember to find what causes your dogs reactivity. The most common issue is a dog having low confidence and being anxious.

Here are some tips to work through your dogs reactivity.

One of my favorite things to do is get cute photos of the dogs while working (even though I suck at posting them). I especially love getting pictures next to the cute displays.

Apollo went on his first outing to Lowe’s and did wonderful! So grateful to be back doing the work I love doing!

Sorry for being MIA on here! To be honest I was never the social media one of the team (Lorena always handled it).

Getting back into training again and starting off by puppy sitting Skylar and Chloe for a friend. I forgot how much I enjoy the chaos of a bunch of dogs in my house 🥰 Taylor and Bruno are here as well just not in the pictures.
