Although I am disappointed in my jockeying this weekend, I came out with tears in my eyes and a huge smile on my face every run!! Clutch ran a 17.9 two 17.5’s for me!!! This weekend was our 6th,7th and 8th runs ever!! I don’t know what I did to deserve this horse or if I even do deserve him at all! He is what dreams are made of 💗🦄

We made it to AZ and made our first of six runs over the next week! I’ve been on this horse twice in the past 2 weeks, so I was far from feeling ready to win today. I made a small daily goal to be a 17 anything for our first crack at a standard pattern. My boy showed up to play!! Thank you @elsaflynn for keeping him legged up for me and loving him like he’s your own, we literally couldn’t be here with out you! Bring on the next 5 runs!!

Although I can not say we raised this stud colt, I am extremely grateful we had the opportunity to find him as a yearling!! Lindsey Musacci you raised one outstanding horse! Andrew Stieger and @chriskrieg have done such an awesome job fulfilling my expectations with him! His future is looking brighter every day and we can’t wait to see what success he brings us in the show pen this fall!! Keep an eye out for this guy in the next couple of years in the barrel and breakaway pen!! I won’t be able to resist after long 💁🏻♀️

To say I’m proud of this mare would be an understatement!!! Charm has barely been hauled and far from being a “finished” horse. But she stepped it up today BIG TIME!! I have done nothing but throw this poor bay mare to the wolves her entire life and she just wants to run with them! No money for our first pro rodeo but we weren’t far off! He exceeded my expectations and keeps showing up to the job ready to work!! Not to mention the athletic ability this guy has, he’s an absolute natural!! Showing them how much you love them doesn’t have to come from buying expensive things.
You can buy every rug, all the boots, the best tack, wash them, groom them, feed them, put them in the best yard, with the best facilities and wrap them up in cotton wool, but one day you’ll realise the best thing you could possibly do...
... is just let them be horses.
