Sometimes farm life means in spite of your best efforts in responsible breeding, accidents happen.
Our Jada is a 2 year old registered Great Pyrenees female. She is loving and protective of our family, and has served us well as a livestock guardian dog.
Bogey is our youngest registered Fox Red British lab. He is the first in twelve years to scale a 7 foot kennel in the name of love and alas, Pyrador Puppies arrived Nov 8.

While they are purebred to purebred mixes, there is no sure way to determine ultimate physical/behavioral traits, however, there are some considerations that are fairly certain. These pups will require plenty of exercise and space, socialization and training, and are not suitable for apartment living or spending days crated. Parents are working dogs and energetic. They are also not a good choice if anyone in the family suffers from allergies.
In the unlikely event that a pup inherits the double coat of the Pyrenees, they will require frequent brushing. The Pyrenees will determine a territory and guard it from predators, which means deep loud barking on occasion.
We are committed to placing these pups in the best homes possible for them to thrive. Farms are ideal!
We are aware that this mix has emerged in the market at outrageous prices, but we do not support or participate there. We are only committed to responsible rehoming. Three males have forever homes. Five females available.

We are big proponents of rescuing animals. We breed only one or two litters per year based on demand. Primarily we prefer to place pups with experienced and devoted duck hunters or US veterans seeking service animals so that our dogs can perform the jobs for which they are bred and live the happiest lives possible.

Lazy D Kennels likes to keep in touch with all of our pups, their progress and any potential problems. We have recently bought back two pups because the owners were not prepared to work through the often inevitable chewing stage. This takes training and reinforcement, which is a part of basic obedience training necessary for any dog. It’s heartbreaking for the dogs to be separated from their families, but sometimes it just isn’t working out.

When we breed a litter, we feel a responsibility for the lifetime of these dogs and will do everything possible to ensure the best outcome, regardless of circumstances.

If you’re seeking a lab for a family pet and not necessarily a strong hunting line, we urge you to adopt one from a shelter, educate yourself on the breed, and commit to loving them for their lifetime.

Labs are America’s favorite breed- and may often be found in shelters, just waiting for a family they will love unconditionally. No fancy pedigree or field-trial champs required.

Pups available 8/29/18. Now accepting deposits. Deaton's Redcoat Rose (her friends call her Punkin') and Brick have consistently produced beautiful red pups and several clients have returned for another.
This will be her last litter before a well-deserved retirement! She has made us proud at Lazy D.
