Class cancellation tonight! Razor wants to let everyone know that due to the severe weather alerts this afternoon and evening all classes tonight at Classy K9 Dog Training have been cancelled. This includes Conformation and Rally. Please spread the word!

Razor says bird watching time is coming to an end and it’s time to get your dogs ready for the upcoming conformation shows. Get your show leads, brush your dogs coat, get your bait and head to conformation classes being held every Monday night at 7:30 pm at Classy K-9 Dog Training. $20 per person. Questions? Happy New Year! Christmas break is almost over and time to get your dogs back in classes again! All advanced classes as well as beginners, will start back up the week of January 8.
If you’re not sure what night or time your class is scheduled for please contact me via email ([email protected]).
For those that have been inquiring, Conformation classes will be held on Monday’s at 7:30 pm beginning January 22.

For everyone asking about conformation classes, I will only offer them the month of April every Thursday night at 7:30 pm. This class is for people who already know how to show, stack and handle their dogs and is for ring procedure only. If you don’t know how to show your dog, you need to schedule a private lesson to learn that before coming to conformation classes. Please contact me privately to schedule privates. The cost for conformation class is $10 per person for one dog. My personal email address is [email protected] for further information.

Michelle Winfield and Rusty showed one day at the GKCDTC trials and scored 81 in Masters, 92 in Excellent and 96 in Advanced getting another Triple Q.
Tim Slavin and Loki showed both days and took 1st place in Beginner Novice A scoring 198. In Rally Intermediate they scored 95 and took 2nd. The second day they took 1st again in Beginner Novice A scoring 198 and scored 97 in Rally Intermediate.
Congratulations you guys! Great job!!

Congratulations to ALL Classy K9 students that did so well at the Lincoln, NE rally trials. Michelle and Rusty finished their RAE title, Claire and Scarlett finished their RE, Ginny and Raven finished their RE and Joy and Jax finished their RI. I hear Tim and Loki also did really well.

Classy K9 students rocked the Lawrence show this weekend! There were some perfect 100’s, lots of placements, Claire and JuJu finished RAE, Matt and Truman qualifying in Novice B obedience for their first legs just to mention a few of the highlights. I don’t have all info from everyone or pictures from everyone, but I just wanted to post some of what I have and congratulate everyone for a great weekend!!! Way to go everyone!!!

Nancy and Belle scored 100 in Rally Excellent B for 1st place and 98 in Advanced B for 4th place Saturday. Sunday they scored 87 in Excellent B and 99 in Advanced B for another 1st place. Completing leg #9 for their RAE. Great job!
Michelle and Rusty scored 95 in Excellent B and 94 in Advanced B Saturday. Sunday they scored 96 in Excellent B taking 3rd place and scored 95 in Advanced B completing their sixth RAE leg. Great job ladies!
I also heard that Tim and Loki took a first in Rally Novice and completed their RN. Congratulations to all who competed and did well!

Nancy Harrington received the recent stats from the Weimaraner Club Of America showing the AKC rankings for 2021 and Baxter Von Mayhem (RIP) was ranked #7 out of the top 10 dogs qualifying in Utility/Open. And her girl Belle Starr The Bandit Queen ranked #4 in the top 10 per their Placement All Classes system as well as Baxter ranking #7 in this system too.

Nancy Harrington and Belle Starr the Bandit Queen had a blast this week in Gray Summit Missouri. Purina Farms hosted the Weimaraner Club of America and Weimaraner Club of Greater St. Louis in the Weimaraner Nationals. Wall to wall Weimies! They earned 2 bonus Novice Obedience legs and their 6th and 7th RAE legs. Way to go Nancy and Belle!

In Iowa,

On Friday, Ginny and Winston finished his Rally Excellent title today in taking first place and scoring 100.

On Saturday, Ginny and Winston moved up to Rally Masters and they scored 97 for his first leg.
