Scottfield Stables is a Morgan and Saddlebred Show Horse training facility located in the Lehigh Valley Region of Pennsylvania. Opened in June of 2003, and relocated in 2016, Scottfield is owned and managed by trainer, Alicia Owens. With 56 stalls, an 46' x 300' Indoor track, a separate indoor arena, 2 outdoor arenas, and 15 paddocks, Scottfield is a facility designed with the comfort of both huma

n and equine visitors in mind! Scottfield specializes in Saddle Seat riding with American Saddlebred and Morgan Show Horses.

A while back we received a call from a gentleman looking for a broodmare who also was hoping to get some general counsel on how best to go about improving his broodmare band to more consistently produce top Morgan show horses. Tuffy and I drove out to personally visit his farm, and after spending an afternoon (and evening!) at their immaculate facility, we proposed a package of mares that we had carefully assembled that we thought would offer a nice cross section of top bloodlines and get their revamped program off to a great start. This group of mares had been carefully curated and earmarked to remain in my personal broodmare band, and while it is hard to part with such nice stock, it feels great to know that these girls are going to a fabulous home with a family who is committed to breeding top show horses. We look forward to working the resulting babies in the coming years!!
