We don't know what happened to Kevin--- pickle ball injury? Ruby sat on him? Showing off for Juan?

But he is responding to his meds. I may have to look into physical therapy for his knee. Needless to say, his chances of making a pro team are now out of the question.

Seven years ago little Harold came to the farm.
Charlie's companion Harriet had died and Charlie wasn't coping well.
Our friend, Heather, who also gave us Charlie suggested we get him a pal.
Harold wasn't very big (40ish pounds) and we were worried how Charlie would react, so that first night we kept Harold in a big wire dog kennel up by the house. He buried himself in the straw and went to sleep.
I got up in the morning to check on him to find an empty kennel.
The kennel was intact, no sign of any escape other than Harold not being in it.
My heart sank. Where did he run off too? I went back to check on Charlie and found Harold snuggled up next to him. Harold had a few scrapes on his side--the only evidence that he squeezed through the wire cage.
They have been inseparable ever since. 🐽🩵💜🩷

Turtle is a Hampshire sheep that is getting used to life with our motley crew. Turtle will spend a few days in a different pen while adjusting to the everyone.

I let Kevin and the gang out for recess today. It's been a while!
We got our first frost last night so I'm not too worried about them running around in the garden.

Turns out no one was interested in the garden.
👀😆.

Our first annual pet show was so much fun!
Congratulations to our winners and thank you to all of the participants.
We raised over $1000 for the sanctuary! 💪

The goats and little pigs celebrated by getting out of their pen and eating all of the chicken feed. 😜
Kevin streaked through pizza night and was lured back into the pen with his own pizza .
