Miss F***y got her new fly boots!

Actually she received 2 sets! Thank you Bonnie and Stacy!
She would like to share her extra pair with Cowgirl if you ladies don’t mind.

F***y is doing well, she will get to go out in small turn out next week.

She has started to lose her hair, We are thinking it’s her body trying to recover from all the medications, anesthesia, stress ect.
We do not believe it’s any type of allergies or conditions.

F***y girl getting some outside time…..

06/19/2022

F***y is home at Impact Equine!!!

We want to say thank you AGAIN to everyone who donated, shared our posts, and sent words of encouragement. Thank You, You ALL saved her!

F***y has a long road of stall rest, and recovery. ❤️‍🩹 More meds at home, bandage changes, vet rechecks, and lots of groceries. (slowly)

She is liking her hand walks to get fresh grass, and is super easy to handle.

She also loves her newly introduced mineral-protein tub, she can lick away!
Hopefully that will help with weight gain along with her small meals.
She will be on a strict feeding program for at least another week.

Thank you all that pulled for this girl 🐎

F***Y (FUN SIZE) Update!

48 hour post kill pen, 24 hour post surgery.

F***y is doing well! She was tubed mineral oil at 4 am this morning to be used as a marker and to help her small meals pass easier.
She’s being fed small meals and no hay yet. (No poking her intestines)
She’s very happy to eat, but I’m sure she wants more.
She is still on a IV and pain meds.

Her knee was cleaned and wrapped and the doctors are still comfortable saying the infection doesn’t seem to be in the joint.

She will have a salmonella PCR test and as long as that’s negative she will be taken out side to hand graze on the grass.

We are ecstatic to receive the pictures of her this evening looking so bright eyed and more comfortable.

Current donation totals.
$700 - MSU directly
$1129 - Pay Pal
$45. - Venmo
$1700-Facebook
$1380- Facebook
$4954 TOTAL!

We are making great stride getting to our 6-8k estimate. We will have more info hopefully tomorrow as far as a more round about estimate hopefully on paper.
We still have a ways to go but this is AMAZING! Thank you Everyone 💕

F***y’s initial evaluation photos after arrival. It was apparent that she had spent a lot of time laying down when she could, in filthy conditions…

06/15/2022

After her arrival….. it was very apparent that this mare was exhausted from the ordeal that she had been living! Badly injured, and forced to move on an excruciatingly painful leg just to be able to eat, drink, and survive…
How long had she been suffering?
