As of July 1, 2008, The Pet Lodge, formerly named, Countryside's Pet Paradise, opened it's doors to announce our mission to offer the best in pet care! All of our staff are pet owners themselves, and are certified in dog handling and pet CPR! Our education and love for the pets in our care, easily make us among the top raved about kennels in Southern Maryland! Not only are our staff experienced, b

ut the owner's are too! Our facility is just one of the many owned and operated kennels under their care! This is not a franchise, however, but a small family owned business, with each kennel having it's own unique services and ways of operating, to fit every clients' needs! We have kennels in Maryland, Kentucky, Texas, Gerogia, Indiana, and Florida! Now you can get away and relax, knowing your pet is receiving the same great care, love, and attention they would receive in their own home. We offer drop in tours during business hours! No appointment needed! Children under 10 and pets are not permitted on tours, for safety reasons. Our facilities are fully heated and air-conditioned. Our friendly, kind, and caring staff strive to keep each animal comfortable, happy, safe, healthy and clean. We are an AstroTurf friendly kennel, meaning we can and do disinfect everything your pet touches from kennels to yards daily! No worries about boarding your pet in a dirty, or stinky place! If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us! Dogs require Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper. There is a 2-week quarantine required for the Bordetella vaccine. This means dogs must have the Bordetella vaccine administered 2 week or more, PRIOR to stay, in order to board. Cats require Rabies, Leukemia, Distemper, and a negative aids test.
