On this day one year ago we deployed to one of the most devastating disasters we have been apart of.

One of the most incredible sights and sounds of destruction we have witnessed. Staying awake for more than 36 hours the first few nights. Listening to the roar of the water and the sounds of structures being torn apart is one of the most helpless feelings in the world. The sights, sounds, and smells are etched in your mind for a lifetime. Through all that we were able to help the most resilient humans and animals that we have had the pleasure of helping. When people come together to help animals and one another the world changes in a good way, even for a short period of time we become one. 🐾
