We would like to introduce everyone to Hazel 🙂 it’s believed she is a mild/moderate ch baby. She will be seeing Dr. Oden soon to make sure she is healthy and get her vaccines updated. She is about 8 months old and very sweet and most kitties with cerebral hypoplasia are.
This is a huge reminder that feral cats are often just terrified of the unknown! These girls were both pulled from a county shelter off of death row, they were set to be killed just for being feral. Combined they came in with 11 kittens. Seeing this in the shelter is another reason we have really pushed towards trap neuter and release. These were certainly not their first litters since both of these girls are full grown. And they would not have been their last. And while they will likely never be house pets they have learned to trust us as their caregivers. In for possibly the first time ever the gray and white girl hope has purred which always brings a tear to our eye.
Autumn got a got a puppy bath from her foster brother. She was apparently ok with it
Week 4 update on Autumn.
She is 5 weeks old now! This time has flown by! She is now using her baby litter box and eating fancy feast kitten canned food only (no more bottle). We will integrate dry kitten food this week.
She is learning how to play well with her foster siblings and plays with anything that moves. She has the self grooming thing down as you can see (it’s the cutest thing ever).
Week 3 Autumn update
She is now 4 weeks old and playing and self grooming. As you can see she is a beautiful girl that doesn’t miss a meal! I think she’s ready for Thanksgiving dinner 🥘! Just kidding! We are sticking to kitten friendly foods only (so should everyone else).
Before we know it she will be eligible for adoption applications if you are interested let us know.
Weekly update on Autumn! She is completely over her tummy problems!!! She is a little over 3 weeks old now. Starting to get playful. This week she will get a baby litter box and possibly start a little canned food mixed with her formula.
She is the face of WHY TNR is so important!! There are soooo many others like her that don’t get taken in, and died cold, hurting, hungry without love. As a rescue we simply can’t take them all in because there are too many and it breaks our hearts on a daily basis that we can’t. Please consider donating! ❤️
****update******* Autumn is already feeling much better on antibiotics. She is being very demanding!
Autumn is going to have to go to the Dr. She has some unknown tummy troubles. If you can find it in your heart to help us help her please do so. We will keep you posted every step of the way.
The cuteness and trouble are overwhelming 🦖🥰 these two will be looking for a foster to adopt home soon!
Weekly update on Autumn. As you can see she is growing and thriving right on track. She will be available for adoption before we know it! If you’re interested message us!
Little Autumn has open 👀 today!! And a weight gain of 4 oz since Sunday!!!
Welcome everyone little Cheeto! He is the little stray with the injured leg we posted yesterday. He received a shot or steroids and antibiotics we are hoping to see improvement which would allow him to use his leg and keep it. He is much more mobile today 🙂 paws crossed we keep seeing improvements in his leg. He will be available for adoption once he is healed.
We have a sweet little orange tabby coming into the Gingered Blessings family. He appears to have a leg injury and is needing medical attention. He has an appointment at 82nd Street Veterinary Clinic at 4:30 pm and could use some donations towards his recovery.
Donations can be made directly to 82nd street or to PayPal.me/gingeredblessings or through the donate button.
