Fire pit will be fired up tomorrow, sun will be out and steady temps. Maybe even cocktails and something to eat so come out, ride and hang awhile. 12:00 on.

Today’s method of filling water tubs.
No wind today and many of the horses are taking advantage of the sun and napping.

A few braved the cold to get a snowy ride and I was elated because my tractor handled the snow enough to get round bales out.

I see best chance to ride in the snow is Wednesday and Friday. Today and Thursday windchills will be a fun buster.
If you plan on taking a cruise in the winter wonderland around the farm. Remember the snow is deep so warm your horse up slowly and keep it simple, the snow will tire them quickly. We don’t want any strained tendons. Once paths are developed then more trot work can be done. Enjoy this out of the ring time in the fields until the snow begins to melt and make them too soft. Use this post to state when you’ll be out so others may join you in on the fun.

If you haven’t taken advantage of getting your rides in this past week, your time is running out. We are in for a blast of winter next week.
I’m going to plan on having lessons Saturday 1:00 and Sunday 12:00 and 1:00 if needed. Message me if you want one or both days.
Chances of lessons during the week next look slim so get your rides in.
