This is so true! Each and every baby Donkey is loved before it is even born. Being with my girls as they give birth and raising and bonding with the babies is such a special blessing. I really get excited when babies that were born on our farm have their own babies 🥰! Each miniature donkey foal is cuddled, kissed, brushed, held, trained, and showered with love from day one. They are all special and have their own unique personality and s***k. I spend countless hours with each baby and I love to hear compliments about how amazing, loving and laid back my babies are. I love hearing testimonials from those that adopt a baby from our farm, and from time to time - people will send me pictures or videos of the babies as they grow.
Loving and bonding with the babies is one of most rewarding parts of what I do. I like to hold and rock the newborns in a chair as often as I can until they start to get to big, squirmy and their legs get to long for my lap ☺️. My donkeys give me so much love and trust back, it makes the daily chores, cold/hot and humid conditions, loss of sleep worth it. When I see a new baby donkey born, I am instantly in love and so grateful to God for entrusting me with taking care of these amazingly smart, loving and stoic animals. I have had to tell people before that they are not a good fit for one of my donkeys, because finding a loving home is of the upmost importance to me. When you adopt one of my babies, you are indeed adopting a foal that holds a special place in my heart!
