ALLEE... OMG!
This sweet little girl was found stray... we think. hmmm
Her surrender was a little shady to say the least. We believe she was a breeder dog... just not certain with who or where. Regardless this little girl came in at what we now believe to be the tail end of her having nursed a litter of puppies. When she came into rescue we were not sure if she was pregnant or not and neither was the vet... so we waited. Thank God she is not pregnant and can now be spayed and have her vetting completed. She is GREAT with other dogs and truly loves everything and everyone! She just LOVES life! She will follow you around and wait for you to give her attention. If you are busy she will either play with some toys or lay in the first spot of sun she finds. We believe she would be good with kiddos and unsure of cats as of now. We believe she would do better in a fenced in yard or someone who is willing to tether her only because she has issues pottying on leash. We call it p*e shy. :) I mean... who wants someone holding your hand while you go to the bathroom?! We totally get it! ;)
You truly do not want to miss out on this care free kiddo! She is just waiting to see what this new life has in store!

Available for Adoption - Checkers

The handsome Checkers was found as a stray. He weighs under 50 pounds, and our (and the vet's) best guess is that he is under 1 year old. He is oh-so-playful and really plays nicely with other dogs in his foster home. He is loving and loyal, housetrained and crate trained.

Checkers is looking for a committed family who wants a fun companion and one that will continue his "education" so that he can be the best he can be. He may knock over tiny humans with his playful antics, so some sturdy bigger kids would be better.

Did we mention that he is an EXPERT ball player! His foster mom describes him as silly, goofy, fun, and well-behaved.

Checkers is neutered, microchipped, and updated with vaccines. He is all ready for his new forever home. on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

I’d like to introduce you to Rollo! He’s a sweet, gentle and loving boy who craves attention and snuggles, but also enjoys his independence. He’s a quick learner and responds well to treats and positive reinforcement. He can sit on command and is working on stay/down, but responds well to “no” and “come”. He loves exploring in the house, and is learning to walk on a leash outside, but is not fond of cars or busses that pass by. Rollo is good with other dogs and is not aggressive or dominant. He is learning to master going up and down stairs and is overnight crate trained, but does not like being in a crate during the day. He would do best with someone who works from home or who can be with him a lot during the day. Dutch shepherds are highly intelligent and the sky is the limit with these kids. They are dedicated and independent all wrapped up into one gorgeous dog!

Sgt Max wants to know where are the Boston Lovers?

Max came to us from our KY rescue friends where he was taken after his owner passed away. It was quite a shock for Max to go from couch to kennel. Max has adjusted very well in central PA in his loving foster home with two other Boston Terriers. He loved having a bath the day of his arrival and was warmly welcomed by his foster humans and their fur family. He has settled in nicely and enjoys playing with the other dogs in the fenced yard and loves to cuddle with the humans. They have nicknamed him Max a Million, because he is such a sweet boy.

Max may be 10 but he has a lot of good years ahead to share his life with new loving humans. Won't you consider welcoming Sgt. Max into your heart and home and help heal his broken heart.

Max is up to date with vaccines, neutered, microchipped and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Adopt!

Ryker is 3 years old and 50 Pounds
He came to us when his owner was no longer able to care for him.
Full of puppy energy, Ryker needs an active family. A fence is not required, but would be preferred as he really needs a place to run. He walks nicely on a leash. Wiggly and happy, Ryker just loves attention and is good with other dogs and kids. His energy may be a lot for little children, but older kids who will play ball and take him for walks would be awesome. Ryker is neutered and updated on vaccines; he is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
