Clear communication means successful training and good behavior~ with no need for physical corrections.
Reward behaviors you want, rather than punishing behaviors you don't want! A dog that’s deaf MUST have a solid watch. It’s one of the first cues taught.

Unless it’s a fenced in area, we don’t suggest letting a deaf dog off leash.
Look how happy and content these dogs are sniffing around on their walk. Don’t you wish you could read their minds?
Always let your dog sniff! They’ll want a nap when you get home too!

Remember
Be careful of groups who offer outdated training methods.
Understanding canine behavior is a science that takes time to study and practice.
A dog does not give us a hard time, they are having a hard time. Bad behavior is a symptom of poor communication and ineffective training.
