Every time rescue is asked to take an owner surrender- we have to somehow make room on our little raft for that dog. When an owner says stuff like “I don’t have time to give them the best life” or “I have to move” or “they have too much anxiety” it really falls flat because that means if we bring them on the raft, another dog out there in the freezing water gets to die.

Every day in rescue we adjudicate life and death by gate keeping who can get on the boat.

Rescues and shelters are the tiny rescue boats.

The ship is our community at large.

The iceberg is comprised of puppy mills, careless owners, backyard breeders, and a$$hats who won’t spay/neuter.

Morning walks and chickens! Delta loves her morning walks more than anything.

This girl takes a little bit to warm up but then she loves hard!! We are working on proper leash walking (she has made big strides already). She does know sit, working on shake.

This girl loves all the fall sounds and smells. Leaves falling off trees- I want to get them! Turkeys gobbling in the woods? I stop and listen! This little girl would be the perfect fall bonfire buddy to cuddle up with!

Delta here! Checking in to see if anyone has applied for me yet before my morning walk.

I am a sweet girl with some puppy energy. I love my people a lot and love to have someone in my eyesight at all times. Nothing better to me than someone who will toss me a tennis ball repeatedly! It never gets old!

I like getting treats, but I won’t necessarily eat them right away. Sometimes I hide them for later! I also have a favorite small stuffy that I play with and then hide under blankets or between couch cushions.

I walk well on a leash and getting even better as I get used to where we walk.

Goodmorning from Alabaster 🍂

I'm looking for that active family that wants to explore the 🌎

● roughly 6 months old
● UTD on vaccinations

I have taken very quickly to a routine here and looking to continue my adventures of finding a furever couch to lounge on. (I've figured out quickly that my foster home has these amazing outside swings that are perfect for naps)
I don't understand "dog toys" but tag is my favorite game IM SO FAST 🚗

My doggy language is excellent 👌
I have a huge appetite for only being roughly 40lbs I will do whatever you ask for a yummy treat
I kennel up easily for meal time and bed time 🐾 even though I'd much prefer to sleep in a cozy bed and be a body pillow for my human
And I love all humans but I especially love female energy 🐾

Enjoys the zest of life and working on self improvement skills-- after all I'm just a baby ❤️

LOVES other dogs they help him be confident and comfortable and burn that puppy energy.

Crate trained and potty trained. High praises are my favorite the more you tell me I'm cute the more kisses I give in return.

LOVES kids especially if they like cuddles while watching TV.

Leash walking is a work in progress I want all the smells and get so excited in new surroundings -- I'd be the best jogging partner or hiking buddy 🐕‍🦺

This is Atlas. He is 3 years old and full of so much love. Atlas is as loyal as they come and wants to be by your side 24/7. He loves big walks and hikes, camping, and sunbathing in the yard. He is the best car companion and loves feeling the wind in his fur. Atlas needs structure, consistency, and a strong “pack” leader. He would prefer a calm home, with older kids if any. Atlas likes to be in charge but he does well with other dogs, as long as you take it slow. Atlas has some quirks, such as a fear of bicycles and is skittish around new people, but is quick to warm up with proper introduction. Without proper introductions to new people or dogs, Atlas becomes extremely fearful and nervous - he will want to protect his people and home. He has been through a highly regarded training program where he learned obedience and leash training. He is fully house broken and crate trained. He even puts himself to bed when he’s sleepy at night - his crate is his sanctuary. Atlas would love a home with lots of space and a big yard to run and have freedom.

Hey all!!! It’s me Tw***ie! I’m going to be sleeping sooooo hard tonight! My brother was adopted today and tonight I was allowed for the first time to really play with the big dogs!! Clearly they loved me as much as I love them!!!

I got a ton of puppy energy out and got lots of dog slobber on me but I had a blast!!

I am a petite princess- I am all black except about 6 white hairs on my back paw. I love to snuggle, working hard on potty training, and love being the center of attention.

🐶 GINA! 🐶
She’s still awaiting her forever home. She continues to love yard time play and lots of snuggles. She’ll win over the right family’s heart within seconds. She’s truly a wonderful pup.

🐾 Gina is about 5 months old, female, spayed, UTD on shots.

🐾 House Training: She’s got it!

🐾 Crate Training: She has spent the last few nights in her crate with no issues or accidents, and has begun spending small amounts of time during the day crated.

🐾 Leash Walking: She’s getting there! Might do well with a Gentle Leader & enjoyed a pack walk with a resident dog.

🐾 Basic Commands: Has quickly learned, “sit”, “wait”, “weave”, “tunnel”, & “spin”. Working on “leave it”, “stay”, & “come”

🐾 Other Animals: Enjoys other dogs, has met 2 resident dogs. Will need some guidance on manners as she’s still a playful puppy! Not cat tested but since she’s a puppy, she’ll likely adapt with guidance.

🐾 Personality: Loving, snuggly, athletic, medium to high energy puppy that loves to crash at the end of a walk or playtime. She’d make a great jogging buddy! Gina enjoys a wide variety of toys and will entertain herself lots of times.
