Our vet techs are amazing!!

If you see one of our veterinary technicians, please wish them a happy vet tech week! Do you know what our vet tech's do?
-Anesthesia: They need to know how to intubate kittens to Great Danes.
-Phlebotomy on multiple species, they have to draw blood from a kitten or a horse
-Blood Laboratory technician : from running blood work to counting platelets, they do it all
-Blood bank Technician with harvesting, storing, and typing blood
-Surgical techs: they have to help in the OR as well as make sure all the instruments are maintained and sterile
-Cat and Dog Whisperers
-X-ray technician: do you know how to get skull films on cats vs horses vs dogs.
- Dental Care Provider: think about cleaning all the teeth in a bull dog mouth vs collie mouth or taking x-rays properly
-Dietician: what is safe for a rabbit vs Guinea pig vs hedge hog vs cat vs dog?
ICU Care providers

and this is just a SMALL list of what they do! Without them, we could not run our hospital. Thank you to all of them and Happy Vet Tech Week!
