Meet Lady (24lbs and 2.5yrs) and Jazzy (31lbs and 4-5yrs). They’re going to be available for adoption soon. They’re small border collies that are super sweet. We will get full bios and information together for them. Jazzy (white floofy girl) is the more outgoing one. Lady is a little shy. They’re getting spayed this week 😊

Leo (McKinley) was originally adopted from us but now finds himself needing a new home. He’s a young golden retriever/lab mix. He’s good with cats, kids, and other dogs. He’s neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines. Leo is 3 years-old.
“Meet Leo, a lovable Golden Retriever Lab mix who is sure to become your best friend! With his friendly and outgoing nature, Leo is the perfect addition to any family. He loves to play outside, whether it’s fetching a ball or running around in the yard, and enjoys snuggling up with his humans at the end of the day. Leo is crate trained, house trained, and well-mannered, making him a breeze to care for. However, due to his playful energy, he does need a secure fence to keep him safe while he enjoys his outdoor adventures. Whether you’re looking for an energetic companion for outdoor fun or a loyal snuggle buddy, Leo is ready to bring joy to your home!”
Teddy got to go to Trena's Tiny Farm and meet some critters. He was a little scared of the donkeys and horse etc but did great!
We can report that his foster does have a kitty and he tries ro play with it, but isnt aggressive or anything. Would recommend dog savvy kitties only because of his size. Teddy really needs a home with at least one other dog as he thrives when having another dog around.
We also ventured to Dutch Bros and TJ Maxx, where Teddy got lotsa loves. Teddy is a little bit shy but his shyness quickly turns to snuggles. And now he’s already tuckered out and asleep in the car 😴
Thank you so much, Dog Is My CoPilot, Inc.! Spud is enjoying his new life with his new Momma 🐾 Spud was adopted by our friend, Mandie. She’s the director of Horse & Halo and is already spoiling Spud Monkey.

❣️Please Share❣️Teddy is looking for his furever Valentine 💘 How has this incredibly derpy big guy not yet found his home?? He's getting ready to turn 4 months-old and is just the sweetest little big man there is. He's already 50lbs and wants nothing more than a four-legged friend to play with and a lap to lay on.
As promised, here’s the video from Alpine Aerials of Petey being located via drone and reunited with his owner. The ending might require a tissue 🥹
We are extremely fortunate to have Austin and his drone technology available to pet owners in our area. Make sure to follow his page.

Update: This post has resulted in numerous phone calls about dogs living outside. Please call your local law enforcement to report your concerns.
Imagine being just 6-months-old and left to fend for yourself 24/7 in the frozen snow and single digit temperatures. No food. No water. Not only that, but add having a heavy rusty chain padlocked so tight around your neck that the fire department had to help cut it off. ⛓️💥 🧑🚒
It happened here. This sweet boy was saved last night and is now safe with us. Unfortunately, there are others in our area left outside 24/7. We will be talking more about this case and how you can help others like this puppy.

And in more news from Snake River Four Paws ... Bliss the Beautiful recently started going to daycare there. We wanted to help build her confidence, let her play with her little heart out with other dogs, and get a professional perspective about her. Bliss is doing FABULOUS in daycare, with both the dogs and the humans. She's definitely maturing and has come far.
** Sorry, no children for Bliss. She's scared of them. But she's good with other dogs, teenagers, and cats!

Timber continues to show us just how smart he is. And we have learned a bit more about how he is with other dogs thanks to Snake River Four Paws. He’s full of surprises.
Save This Life has shut down and unlinked their entire database from the national registry. This means if your pet’s microchip was registered with them, scanning it will NOT bring up your owner information anymore.
🔍 WHAT IF I USE A 'SAVE THIS LIFE' MICROCHIP?
If your pet’s microchip was registered with Save This Life, you do NOT need a new microchip, but you will need to re-register with a different company. Here are some options:
🐾 IS MY PET MICROCHIPPED?
If you’re unsure whether your pet has a microchip, your vet can quickly scan them to check. If a chip is present, an electronic scanner will display a unique ID number.
Keeping your pet’s microchip information current is essential for their safety! 🏡🐶🐱

Are your pets outside freezing? They shouldn’t be. If they are, you should go join them.

If you believe an animal is in danger, please make sure your first call is to law enforcement. If you're unable to reach them or if they can't respond quickly, contact a reputable rescue group with experience in handling these types of situations. You can risk criminal charges of your own while the real criminal gets off.
Unfortunately, we very recently encountered a case where neighbors took matters into their own hands. In an effort to help, they unlawfully entered a home and interfered with the scene, compromising the evidence. While the person responsible for the animals in that home should certainly face charges for neglect and cruelty, any chance of prosecution has been severely weakened because the proper steps weren't taken to ensure each of the animals' conditions were properly documented, vet checked, and the situation was handled correctly. Even after we did get law enforcement involved, they decided they knew better than anyone and became combative with our rescuers and law enforcement.
We completely understand the urgency of these situations, but if we want to hold animal abusers accountable, it’s important to follow the law and work with the proper authorities. Taking matters into your own hands not only jeopardizes the criminal case but can allow these abusers to escape justice altogether. And when they get away with these crimes, they will likely continue to abuse other animals or worse.
In the end, our volunteers were able to rescue two kitties. It would have been nice if we could have rescued the other animals still alive and gotten them all vetted, but this is still a "win". Thank you for your assistance and guidance Animal Rescue Foundation and Lewis County Sheriff's Office. #teamwork #animalrescue
Trena’s Tiny Farm Critters
Absolutely love that our rescue has these goofy #goats, adorable baby mini #donkeys, preggo mini donkeys, baby #calf, and the antics of Turk the #turkey directly behind us. Despite all the crazy in rescue this week, there’s still some good out there.
Make sure to follow Trena's Tiny Farm here on Facebook 🐐 🫏
Update: We transported her to Lewis Clark Animal Shelter. Please contact them or LPD with any information about this dog.
Lewiston Orchards - found near 14th and Ripon Ave with a chain. Anyone know this dog? Message us or tag owners.
Idaho Animal Rescue Network is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Idaho that works in Idaho and Eastern Washington to educate, advocate, and network with other rescues and law enforcement in Idaho regarding animal cruelty and neglect. We are a no-kill animal, all-volunteer rescue organization dedicated to ensuring that each animal that comes through our rescue is provided with a safe place to recover from their trauma. Each animal is provided with a loving, stable environment as they navigate the legal system. Every animal receives all necessary veterinary care in order to prepare them for their future furever home.
We place animals in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives.
We strive to work with area shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for animals.
