Introducing our new vet, Dr. Chia!! We are thrilled to have her working with us!

A bit about her:

"I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and I grew up with multiple pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, parrots, and turtles. I moved to Boston, Massachusetts to pursue a college degree at Berklee College of Music.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Music in Film Scoring and working as a composer for a few years, I started volunteering at several animal clinics in Southern California, and became deeply drawn to the rewarding nature of the veterinary profession. I went back to school and obtained an Associate of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Los Angeles Pierce College, and was accepted to the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis. I graduated in May 2024 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, and I am honored and grateful to be a member of the Southway team!

In my spare time, I love to explore nature, try new restaurants, crochet, play the piano, play video games, and spend time with my partner and my two cats."

We are looking forward to celebrating a long weekend with our families! Please call any medication refills in by Thursday, August 29th if you plan on picking them up before, or over the weekend. We will have normal operating hours on Saturday, 8/31 and Sunday, 9/1. We will be closed on Monday, September 2nd!

Please have any medication refills called in by tomorrow 7/2 in order to have the ready before the holiday. All requests made after July 2nd will be ready on July 8th. Have a happy and safe Fourth of July!

We will be closed the 4th and 5th of July to give our amazing doctor and staff the opportunity to spend time with their families. Please call any medications in prior to July 2nd to give our staff time to fill and sign off on medications. Our hours for the first week of July will be as follows to pick up food and medications:

We will be having our roof redone starting tomorrow 6/5! Please keep in mind we will be experiencing loud noises and reduced parking capacity during construction in the next two weeks. We appreciate your patience!

Memorial Day
Southway Animal Clinic will be closed Monday, May 27th. We are looking forward to celebrating a long weekend with our families! Please call any medication refills in by Thursday the 23rd.
We will not have a Doctor in on Friday the 24th. We will resume regular business hours Tuesday, May 28th.
