First class is at 5:30 pm.
Puppies learn: come, sit,down,off,no bite, stay and other things.

For all those of you that are getting Christmas puppies, now is the time to sign up for Puppy Class. Puppy classes will be starting January 6, 2025, wow 2025 already. Applications are here on the site. You can print them off, read the cover letter that’s there with it and send them to my home address which is on the cover letter.

I have gift certificates for those that are interested in giving a certificate for Classes, you can contact me here.

Christmas parade is 12/7 @1:00. Shepherdrun will be walking in it. If you would like to walk with us the theme is Christmas around the world. My thought is go with the country your dog originated from. Please let me know if you are walking with us.

McVeytown and Lewistown Halloween parades. Both were fun experiences for our dogs and owners. Thank you everyone for attending.

Lewistown Halloween parade is Wed. Anyone who would like to walk with us show up dressed for the occasion. We will be a walking group. When I get us signed in I will post where we will be in line. Come join the fun. Please.

For those walking in the McVeytown parade we will be meeting 5:30-6 at the McVeytown library. We can work on our little routine before the parade starts.

Our next obedience class starts on October 21. There are a few spots left if anyone is interested the class runs for six weeks on Monday nights. The cost is $100. The Puppy Class is at 5:30 and the older dogs are at 6:30.  the application and cover letter are on the shepherd run obedience training page. you can print the application off and mail it back to the address on the cover letter, please

Shepherd run dog students will be walking in the Halloween parade in McVeytown on October 16 and the Lewistown parade on October 23. I would love to get together this Thursday to get down a short routine to do during the parade. We will meet at the training room at 6 o’clock. Those they cannot make it we will video the routine and you can teach it to your dogs at home.

So tonight shepherd Run did their demo at the youth park during the 4h fair. Thank you 4h for involving us. We all had a great time with our demo.
