2023 ice festivals

Happy holidays Shepherd, run students. This Thursday and Friday will be the ice festival in Lewistown. Shepherd run has a stand at the festival, if anyone of my students would like come and show the public what your dog has learned at Classes. Please feel free to drop in and stay for a while. If you plan on staying very long, bring a chair. We will be right on the square. We also will be walking in the Lewistown Christmas parade, please plan on walking with us. We have always had fun walking in the parades together. Let’s show the public how well-behaved our dogs truly are.

Application for obedience classes! Application and payment are required to hold spot!
Applications and payment are due Dec 18th. If it has not been received by due date a late fee will be assets and spots are limited so no guarantee your will receive a spot!

It’s time to get those puppies registered for the January class. January 8 will be our start date. Puppy and basic classes. Cost is $100 for six weeks. We will meet on Monday evenings for an hour. Your puppies will learn come sit down stay wait and multiple other things. No pulling on the leash no jumping on people. Application will be on Facebook by Monday 11/20/2023

Shepherd run parade walkers we won 1st in McVeytown and Lewistown parades. I’m so proud of all of you and your dogs.

OK Shepard run walkers we are second in line so that means get here so we can get up there. We have to be in line no later than 10 till seven.

Ok people. I’m going to head up to chestnut st as soon after 6 as I can to get our number. If you are late getting to the training room please just head up to chestnut st. When I know where we will be I’ll post it.

No open training tonight. But we will meet at 6 tomorrow to meet up for the parade. Come have fun walking through town with your pup and other members of our group. Dress yourself and your dog if you’d like.

10/25 Lewistown Halloween parade at 7. Anyone wanting to walk with us meet at the training room at 6 so we can get up there and get signed in and find our place in line. We had a great turn out tonight for McVeytown so let have a bigger turnout for Lewistown

Dress yourself or your dog. All dogs were dressed tonight.

Shepherd Run is walking in the Halloween Parades, McVeytown on 10/18 at 6 and Lewistown 10/25 at 7. Any student past and present that wants to walk with us please message me. It’s always fun dressing up along with our dogs.

Shepherd Run had another good day at the show. Sue Kibe and Van moved up and took 1st place in intermediate for the first leg of his title.

Pam Bilger and Rayne took first in Novice B with a slight hic up. The owner messed up. We would have had a 99 but with my mistake we had an 89. This was our 3rd leg for our title.

Shepherd Run did well at the rally trial today. Sue Kibe and Van with a second place and a first place in Novice Rally. Pam Bilger and Rayne with a first place and a second place. Sue and Van receive their Rally Novice title today. Rayne has 2 legs to her title.

Tonight was fun night at class. We walked the plank then made it a teeter and walked it. We then walked through the ladder and did the short tunnel. All the dogs did great. Then we worked on the street at the square. Great job tonight owners.

The next set of obedience classes will start Oct 9. Please contact me for an application. Applications and money reserve your spot in class and need returned to me by Sept 25. Cost is $100 if registered by the deadline. After is $110. Classes are 6 weeks long. We meet on Mondays for an hour. Puppies at 6 pm older puppies and dogs at 7 pm.
