Happy Friday Fat Cat Followers.
As always we are hosting our weekly Adoption Event, Saturday from 10-4pm at the rescue located at 698 Metro Park Circle Lewisville 75057.
The cats pictured below will be at the rescue tomorrow, however we have more cats on pet finder that are also available for adoption.

Due to limited space we can only bring a portion of our available cats to the rescue on Saturdays so please check out the link above to view all of our adoptable cats! We currently have 102 cats in the rescue, 63 of those are ready for their forever families. Please consider sharing our posts so we can find home for these sweet cats and kittens.
We recommend filling out an application before your visit as this will save you time during the adoption process. North Texas Giving Day is Today!
Please help us rescue, treat and rehabilitate more kittens like Cheeto who is currently going through 84 days of very expensive FIP Treatment.
He is the 4th cat to be treated by Tena at Texas Rustlers.

Scooter is a year old and has been with us for 8 months. Below is what his foster mom has to say about him.
I love to play with my sister and the resident cats at my foster moms house. My spring toys and the cat tree are my favorite! I will need a cat friend in my new home and would probably do best with older kids. I enjoy pets and can be picked up but it's not my favorite thing.

This beautiful girl is Natasha, she is 1 year and 6 months. She was previously adopted and through no fault of her own was returned. Needless to say, she is a bit timid to be back at the rescue. Below is what her foster mom has to say about her:
Donāt let her timid exterior scare you off, when Natasha first came to us, she was a skittish and timid little cat. She had been through a lot of changes and found it hard to trust humans. But with plenty of love, patience, and kindness, she slowly transformed into the playful and outgoing feline she is today. Natasha has a gentle spirit, and once she trusts you, she loves nothing more than curling up in your lap and purring contentedly. However, it takes a bit of time and patience for her to feel comfortable with new people and situations. But with the right approach, anyone can win her over and see the sweet, loving cat underneath her timid exterior.

The ultimate snuggle buddy, heās always ready to curl up and enjoy evening TV time together. His affectionate nature is balanced by his playful energy, as he loves running around with his toys and chasing after his sisters. His blend of warmth and spirited playfulness makes him a delight to have around.

Welcome the latest Fat Cats who arrived on transport last night from the Rio Grand Valley. Thereās a black kitty too who wouldnāt stay still for their photo shoot!
We have 3 more kittens arriving towards the end of the week so we are still in need of fosters.

This little whimsical fairy (I call her Tinkerbell) is incredibly sweet and loving, always bringing a sense of warmth and comfort. She loves to cuddle, making her the perfect companion for cozy moments. Her curiosity knows no bounds, and sheās always eager to explore during playtime, making every day an adventure with her around.

Wren is a sweet cat who has been waiting a year for her forever family. She is shy at first and needs a family who will give her the time to warm up. She also would do better in a home without young children. She has been around other cats and dogs.
Sushi (Oriental Mix Calico)Sushi has been let down before by the people she trusted the most. She was left outside to fend for herself and her litter of kittens when her previous owners moved apartments and left her behind. A good Samaritan saw how friendly she was and took her in while a rescue was found. Sushi was such a good mama that she even took on 4 new babies who had just lost their own mama. Now it's Sushi's turn to find her forever home where she can be loved and a part of the family. She is very sweet and loves attention, pats, chin scratches and treats! She's an independent girl and won't be needy for attention. She will happily curl up beside you or in her favourite cosy cat bed. She is learning about toys and how to play and so far enjoys the fishing pole toys and ball tracks. She loves to sit at the window and watch the birds. She has been around older children, other cats and dogs. She really isn't interested in getting to know the other pets yet and would prefer to hang out with her people. Sushi is a little shy and will take a little while to truly come out of her shell, but when she does she is full of purrs and happy chirps.
