Carrot and Chalia took a road trip to Austin Pets Alive yesterday! 🚗🐾
Both are FELV positive, and APA has an incredible program dedicated to helping FELV kitties find their forever homes much faster than we’re able to. While we’ll miss them dearly, we’re so happy and hopeful for the bright futures ahead of them.

Hi! My name is Sydney — also known as Sid or Patty Cakes 😄
I’m a beautiful young female calico, about 1–1.5 years old. I was found as a stray, but I never showed an ounce of fear and was easily rescued off the streets—clearly I knew I was meant for indoor life!
I currently live in a home with other cats and a dog, and I get along with everyone without any trouble. I love to play, but I’m just as happy lounging by the front window, watching squirrels and birds go about their day.
I’m a gentle, sweet girl with the perfect balance of chill and playful—not too wild, not too lazy, just right. I’d make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an easygoing, loving kitty.

Happy Friday Fat Cat Followers,

As always we are hosting our weekly Adoption Event, Saturday from 9-4 at the rescue. Our address is 698 Metro Park Circle Lewisville 75057.

The cats pictured below will be at the rescue tomorrow, however we have more cats on adopt a pet or pet finder that are also available for adoption.

Due to limited space we can only bring a portion of our available cats to the rescue on Saturdays so please check out the link above to view all of our adoptable cats! We currently have 72 cats in the rescue, 50 of those are ready for their forever families. Please consider sharing our posts so we can find homes for these sweet cats and kittens.

We recommend filling out an application before your visit as this will save you time during the adoption process. This also allows us to make sure the cat you are interested in is at the resuce on Saturday. A home visit may also be possible, with an approved application. Below is the link to our application.
