Bear is truly a success story that has warmed our hearts. Bear is a Saint Bernard that was diagnosed with an osteosarcoma, and his dad made the hard decision to amputate his leg. Alex his nurse and the surgeon spent 2.5 hours in surgery, and came out successfully. Bear has already started to adapt to his new life as a tripod, and we cannot wait to see how he heals! His dad has been helping him so much as home, but Bear is fighting to learn on his own

Who doesn't love a good rescue story?

Sibby came in today for her first visit, and boy was she a cutie! Her mom told us that Sibby used to be in a puppy mill. If you don't know what a puppy mill is, they repeatedly breed puppies and sell them to unsuspecting owners. Now this may not sound so bad, but it causes over populating and can really affect the mothers after giving birth so many times.

Sibby was so lucky to end up in such a loving and wonderful home! We home she lives the bestest life!

Hello Castle Hills Animal Hospital Family, we just wanted to update you on some holiday and cold weather hours. Today we will be closing at 5pm due to the cold weather coming in, to keep our clients and staff safe during this icy weather. Tomorrow we will also be opening up at 10 am, as of right now closing at normal time 6pm. Saturday we are closed as well as Sunday but will be back to normal business hours Monday morning. Dogs absolutely love our laser therapy treatments! Dreadnaught is a 135# Cane Corso and she stays so relaxed she nearly falls asleep during her sessions! She gets her hips, joints, and spine treated to promote healthy bones! Larger dogs put more strain on their joints which lead to more problems down the road. Staying on top of your large breeds joint health is important. Supplement and laser therapy are a great way to counteract any strain they can put on themselves!
