First, we apologize to you for closing the clinic without previous notice, I am the new medical assistant here at Old Orchard Animal Clinic. I was informed that unfortunately Dr Salib's mom suddenly passed away back in February 2023. Dr. Salib had to take care of family obligation.
We're thrilled to announce that we reopen our doors now from Monday – Friday.
We can't wait to welcome back our old friends and meet some new ones soon.

Mosquitos can really be pain in Texas so make sure your pet's test is negative and get your pet on a preventative to stay that way! Big smiles all around! 🐾🐾😁

Old Orchard animal Clinic is hiring Veterinary Technician!

Responsibilities
We are looking to bring a Veterinary Technician Assistant to help us to provide pet care. Major responsibilities include:

· Provide assistance to our Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarian.

· Clean, sterilize, and maintain exam rooms, cages, and shared treatment floor and areas

· Assist with restocking of supplies and Administer medications to pets.

· Comfort and restrain pets during examinations and care.

· Perform some clerical duties.

· Any other duties as assigned by manager.

Veterinary Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 1+ years of experience in animal care or in a clinic preferred; for no experience, willing to train.

· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Proper handling of specimens, following hospital standards.

· Passion for working with animals and their owners.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).

· Attention to detail in order to maintain accurate patient records.

· Physical ability to restrain larger pets when necessary.
Assist in the front office when necessary

· Able to early mornings, weekends, extended hours, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time.
