Rio needs a home!

This handsome Hunk O' Pup is Rio. Rio is in need of a special home. He was a bit of a scaredy cat when he came into the shelter and is slowly coming out of his shell. He is just a quiet fellow who takes a little time to get to know you. He seems to tolerate other dogs and seems curious about cats. He loves squeaky toys and tennis balls and appears to be housebroken. If you are looking for a couch potato companion and are okay with him taking his time to get to know you, then Rio is your guy.

The adoption fee for all dogs over 20 pounds is just $20 through this Saturday! Stop by for a visit - he is usually taking a nap under the front desk counter - Tuesday through Friday 10am - 5pm or Saturday noon - 5pm or visit our website for more information at
