All setup at the Millington Craft Fair and Pancake Breakfast. We will be here from 7-3 today! I made it a heavy bow and hairclip kinda day to help move some product out to make room for new products in the future, but I did have space to put out some stud earrings for this show. =')

I know I don't update FB as much as I do my other social media but wanted to get the word out that we are out here this morning. 🎀❤

Finally I remembered to take table photos at today's Bartlett Farmer's Market! 😂💕🙌 I get so wrapped up in doing additional crafting that I forget a lot. Life has been exhausting lately, but I am so happy to be a part of this farmer's market each Saturday during this summer. =')

I had a super amazing art table event today. It was a small setup of artists in a popup event and lots of fun. I met some really nice people and got so many compliments for my craft work. It definitely makes me feel like this small business could really be a full-time reality some day. =') I cannot wait for the next opportunity to come along. I love setting up, talking to folks, and sharing my love of crafting with everyone. Always a huge thank you to the folks who stopped by my table to look and chat and also those making purchases. It means so much! 💕🐱

Between my current job being so busy with Command reviews and inspections and the process of trying to move to another state in a month and a half now, I have definitely been struggling to create new things for Closet Floof. Once things settle in October, I will definitely be knocking out items again to continue this dream job goal of having my own pet supply business. =') In the meantim, I have made a couple dresses for Evie to continue practicing new designs with different fabric prints to keep the creative mind flowing. Here are a couple Evie pictures to share of some of the dresses she has modeled for me lately. 😺❤🐈 Thank you to everyone for being patient with me all the time. Juggling a lot, especially during the pandemic, has made things even tougher sometimes. I am really hoping for a good autumn selection of dresses and shirts for your furbabies come October/November!

Getting back on track later today after a good trail walk. I have several dresses to make and some other ideas. It got a bit busy after my birthday last week so I didn't get the chance to really dive into anything major. I know I have some folks who have been inquiring about some various projects. I am going to take today after my walk and tomorrow to get creative for y'all. 😸 I apologize for being a bit silent lately. Some days I get more overwhelmed with life than others. >___

I gotta make a couple little hot glue spots when I get home from work to secure any pointy wire ends, and I wanna dab some green paint over the white wires of the bridal flowers. After that, I will post these as new shop items! I will also take a picture of this specific size on Pan since this is a larger one and would not fit Evie's tiny head, but I will make a tiny Evie one also. =')

Just a quick note:

I am making a post office drop off tomorrow, Wednesday May 27th, so if anyone has the desire to make a purchase before the first drop off day this week, please DM me and we can discuss items and PayPal payment!

Next drop off after tomorrow will be Friday, May 29th for any additional purchases.

Sale runs through the upcoming weekend. I will take down item posts on our Instagram account on Sunday afternoon, but I plan to leave all posts here on Facebook for any remaining inquiries inbetween new sale posts.

The goal is to rework the remaining inventory after each sale ends and add newly sewn items to it for a new sale posted every other week. That gives me plenty of time to craft some new stock outside of my normal work hours. =')

Please be sure to read the slides once again for sale specifics on the dresses! I did not photograph the Peter Pan dress since it was already sold to a good friend who reached out to me for it yesterday, but I currently have 5 dresses I have finished! If any of them spark your interest send me a DM! I will post pricing on each individual dress picture in an upcoming post. All prices have US shipping included. Size pattern I used for each dress is a medium (however I feel it can be more on the smaller side). All dresses fit Evie with some extra room to grow; however, they do not fit my chonky boy, Pan! If you have a chonk, I am working on drafting a large size pattern for those babies. These would fit small to medium cats and small dogs. Kittens may be too young/small to wear this size, but if you're looking for something they can grow into then this would work fine. You can also look at the previous posts we made for more close up photos of each dress or request photos via DM. Please ask any questions you may have before purchasing. I am here to answer questions and will respond as soon as I can! 😸❤🐈🐕👗

In this post are also quick reference pictures with my 15 inch ruler in various places of one of the dresses. Due to each dress being handmade there may be slight differences, but overall they fit the same way. Some have ribbon bows and some fabric bows on the back. Some may have black velcro and some white. All are lined with a solid cotton color. I did my VERY best to tediously keep the stitching as clean as possible, but this being my first adventure with these, please don't be too harsh. I am growing every day in this craft and hope I can continue to improve in many positive ways! These are fashion dresses and not harnesses so please do not treat them like you might a harness. Upcoming post will currently have all available dresses with prices.

Quick reference post of a front and back of a bow and how they function. The two loops are hot glued to the base of the bow and they are meant to slip carefully over a collar. I have played with the bows several times on small to medium collars, but nothing larger than that. I plan to make larger bows in the future for your giant furbabies with bigger loops for those types of collars. I typically grasp the bow at the center firmly and stretch the little loops just enough to slip the collar through. I do not recommend yanking on the loops as they are made from small hairties and are not meant to be extremely stretched out to where they could snap. Please be cautious when stretching loops as to not overstretch them causing damage or breakage. 🐕🐈🎀❤

SO MANY BOWS! 🙀❤🎀🐕🐈

Some are posts of duplicates as they had slightly different lengths, and I wanted to display those with the length differences for any specific preferences. All bows are propped up against my sewing machine next to a ruler, but if you require additional measurements or pictures please just DM me! I will respond to all inquiries as soon as I can.

The bows slip onto a collar utilizing two loops glued to the back. I will post a back and front photo additionally after this post for folks to see how they function. Although these bows may work vest for small to medium cats and dog collars, I will in the future be adding larger bows for your big furbabies. =')

In the meantime, back to sewing dresses and I still have a few left! I only took a brief break to post the pet collar bows/bowties for sale.

Once again, please read all slides carefully in the previous post for all instructions, home care, and shop policies on purchases.

And the sewing continues! Finished this one and thought I would change up the trim a bit since I had a little of this kind. My back is definitely hurting from sitting here tediously sewing, but I have been trying to move around to ease it. I have 5 more dresses in my cut stack. One for Evie to model and the other 4 to put with the sale stack. I will finish what I can tomorrow and then make a sale post of dresses and bows in the afternoon of what is in stock. I plan to hit up the post office Wednesday for anyone who makes a purchase. Whatever I don't finish tomorrow I will just keep working on throughout the week. 😸 The Peter Pan dress got grabbed already, but I will still have several others to post for the sale. =')

Anyone else like to attend Potions Class? 😅 Finally dress 3 is completed. Still going slowly.... but I will definitely post some various accessories and the completed dresses tomorrow afternoon with exact prices and measurements since I will need to play with a little bit of the pricing. I so want to be affordable for folks, but I do also want to be able to cover time and materials with some of these more expensive fabrics. I will have a few simple but pretty floral dresses for those not into the licensed, slightly higher priced dresses. ❤😸

Sharing this from a goood friend's business page as I totally love the message. Small businesses are all struggling right now, and I know I have had some issues of my own trying to get a consistent interest in the crafts I create. Everything I make is at home in the United States on my kitchen table whether it be pet clothing and accessories or other jewelry items I make and sell at local festivals and conventions. I understand how hard it is to push a small business and I know I have a lot to learn still in the business world. I am growing every day in knowledge and improving my craft. I always appreciate everyone's amazing support. ❤❤❤❤

Okay, so the most frustrating part of this is that A MEDIUM STILL FITS EVIE! 🙀 It is not as fitted as the Small size because she is so petite, but it leaves growing room which is what I was aiming to see in this next size up. I tried it on Pan for just a size comparison and it still won't go around his belly. 😹 I am starting to think the Medium is more like a Small and the Small is more like an X-small... I have plenty others cut out in this Medium sizing so I will just have to be sure to post exact measurements when they all go up for sale in a couple days...lol Also, I guess I need to see if I can draft a pattern for a large size to work for the chonky animals out there on the same level as my Pan. 😅🐈❤

Omg.....this has to be one of my new favorites. 🙀❤ The amount of time it takes me to sew just one of these is so time consuming. I almost feel like I am undercutting myself in cost and time the more I work with these... I might break it up and do $33 for the dresses with the licensed prints and more intense sewing, and then do the $23 for the simpler prints I have (which are still pretty and will have some trims, but not as intricate in time as something like this one took). But I have time to sorta figure all that mess out since I won't post anything with a specific price until Monday. 😅

My least favorite part....cutting out fabric...lol. 🙃 But I finally finished cutting out one last sample for Evie to model and then 10 different dresses using the next size up pattern since the one Evie wears is a bit small and doesn't have much growing room. Debating an Alice in Wonderland cosplay style dress for that last all solid blue one, but I may just use it as lining for 2 more dresses if I decide to change my mind by the time I get there. 🤷‍♂️
